Standard Bank Home insurance more like a CIRCUS than a business with ZERO customer service and a clear lack of willingness to retain customers but rather the URGE to chase them away ….YES CHASING CUSTOMERS AWAY !!!!. I queried an increase of my instalment with no prior notification where I wanted feedback as to why this occurred to which I wanted a reply from them within 7 days of comms sent. After the email was sent to them I received a auto reply saying that I will get a response within 2 days which as to no surprise I DID NOT but instead I received an email from the home insurance department on the 7 day mark to which they copied the cancellation department in saying “ please see below “ no where in my email to them did I say I want to cancel my policy !!! All I wanted was feedback on the increased premium amount with no prior notification. This to me looks like a clear “ I DON’T care about you Mr Customer, you can take your business elsewhere and stuff you thank you very much “ !!!! Standard Bank YOU LOSING CUSTOMERS !!!! Sort your house out before it’s to late !!!!
Great customer service , top quality workmanship, excellent product and most of all genuine people !!!! Thank you to Mike , Elna, Blake , Moses and team from the Montague Gardens branch for transforming our front garden. Would definitely recommend this company.
Stay clear of this company !!!! Tygerberg Pools / Pools4us. Issues with my pool has gone on far too long. They did come and repair initially but more issues arose after where holes formed on the pools steps ( 4 holes in total ) which they would not come fix, blatantly ignoring my comms to them eventually saying that there Pools4Us department ( factory ) has been liquidated where there Tygerberg Pools department still operates. Be warned stay far away.
Stay far away from this company. Nearly 4 years after the my fibreglass pool installation and I’m still left with a sub standard product where holes , chips and spider cracks formed in my pool 2 weeks after installation. John’s supplier Pools4Us has been liquidated and my balance of my 10 year warranty GONE !!!!. In May of 2023 John contacted me to rectify all the issues with the pool if I remove all my 1 star reviews of Extreme Pools. That was the last I heard from him. I’ve said it before in my previous reviews of Extreme Pools that John takes no accountability for his work….this whole ordeal is proof of that. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE MAN SHOW OF A COMPANY!!!
Be careful of this company !!!! There are reviews on their website going around that they taking peoples deposits and not completing the jobs. They then say they’ve been liquidated and cannot refund the customers money ( deposits ). Jan Mostert is the owner …..stay far far away from this company !!!!
Stay away from this company. Nearly 4 years on and still I’m left with a fibreglass pool that is chipped , cracked and has holes in it. Issues started arsing 2 weeks after installation in August 2020. The supplier the shell was purchased from by Extreme Pools has been liquidated and my 10 year warranty is now null and void. John has made contact with me in May 2023 to fix my issues with the pool and the last comms from him was in June 2023. He mentioned he would drain my pool and fix the chips , holes and cracks if I remove all the 1 star reviews on hello Peter. To date there was no attempt from John to fix my pool. I will now have to pay a “ REPUTABLE “ company to reline my pool. Stay far, far , far away from this company !!!!!
Following up on my last review on Extreme Pools from June 2022 regarding the poor quality fibreglass pool that was installed at my property in August 2020. Nearly 4 years later and still I have a pool that is chipped , cracked and has holes. John called me up in May 2023 and discussed with me the fixing of the issues with my pool. He mentioned he will fix all my issues pertaining to the pool by draining the pool and fixing the spider cracks and holes on the pools steps and floor. This of course came with a request from John that if he fixes the pool I would then remove my 1 star reviews of Extreme Pools on Hello Peter. I agreed however the last comms from John was in June 2023 and nearly 9 months later I still have the mess of a pool that he left me with almost 4 years ago. I’ve decided to cut all ties with Extreme Pools and pay a “REPUTABLE” company to reline my pool that started chipping , cracking and forming holes just 2 weeks after installation.
Following on from my previous review on Tygerberg Pools / Pools 4 Us in July 2023 regarding the poor quality product ( mess ) they left me with, I have had 2 more holes form on the pools steps ( 4 holes in total ). If you have used this company’s services in the past to install a fibreglass pool or if you used an installer that purchased the shell from this company , ask them about your warranty as my 10 year warranty is now non existent. Their Pools4Us division has supposedly been liquidated. They do not respond to comms blatantly ghosting me all the while they’ve pocketed my money and gone on their holidays. I’ve been left with a mess that seems to be getting worse as time goes on. My pool which is only 3 years old started with its problems 2 weeks after installation and still there’s no end in sight. I would need to now pay a reputable company to reline my new pool. Have a look at previous reviews from clients on Hello Peter & Google reviews with similar issues to what I’m experiencing after only months of installing their pools. Stay clear of this so called company !!!!

In 2020 I used an Agent of Tygerberg Pools to install a fibreglass pool at my property. 2 weeks after installation issues arose from spider cracks to holes forming on the pools floor. They would eventually come fix their issues after months of continuous back and forth. However after every fix a new issue arises and the latest is 2 holes that formed on the steps and walls of the pool. This happened in December 2022 and apparently their manufacturing factory has since been liquidated but their installation division Tygerberg Pools is still fully operational and offering a list of offerings including repairs.+++++ the owner of these 2 companies doesn’t respond to any comms ,blatantly ghosting me and what makes it worse is that the balance of my warranty on the shell which is about 8 years is now non existent. Let’s expose such companies that take peoples hard earned money and think nothing of the sub standard product they leave you with. I’ve made peace with whole ordeal that they won’t fix their mess but I made a promise to myself to make people aware of them and not make use of their services #avoidthiscompanylikeaplague!!!!</div>
<div>This company installed a fibreglass pool at my property in August 2020. In my earlier review I commended Extreme Pools on a job well done however I was quick to realise that I did this to early. 2 weeks after installation I noticed that the mosaics cracked in four different sections around the pool, one of the cracks of actually chipped off. After many back and forth eventually the pool got repaired towards the end of 2020. In September 2021 after lifting the pool cover to get the pool ready for use I noticed spider cracks in 2 areas of the pools floor. John sent 2 “ independent “ pool experts out to assess the pool and their conclusion is that it’s a cosmetic issue not structural however a few months later in March this year a hole formed at 1 of the areas concerned. So a hole in my pool where black fibre glass is sticking out is purely a “ cosmetic “ issue ? According to John I need to sort this issue out with his manufacturer as he is now washing his hands off the issue. John takes no accountability for his work , once there’s issues he passes the buck onto his manufacturer. Once he takes your hard earned money , the so called “ nice guy “ disappears. I will definitely not and will never recommend Extreme Pools. What was suppose to be a joyous experience of installing a pool for my family has turned into a stressful one. I have pictures ,emails , reports and timelines of all correspondence if any person wanting to view my experience with this 1 man show of a company. Lessons learnt !!!!</div>
