I have 1 piece of advice for everyone. DO NOT USE THIS PATHETIC COMPANY. The staff are arrogant (Besides the poor call center agent who tried to be nice and apologized for the arrogance of everyone else). The standard eco delivery of all other main couriers usually have my parcels delivered within a max of 3 days. All is delivered and the staff are friendly and pleasant. This useless company called INTERNET ERXPRESS is something else. After 8 days I finally receive HALF my package. The useless driver who wouldn't even give his name asked me where the other half is. HOW ON EARTH MUST I KNOW WHERE IT IS> They are delivering the package to me. So I get half a package. I try calling. No answers. Calls keep getting cut. I try the Owner.. Geoff.. He cuts all calls. I eventually get to a call centre agent. This poor chap checks the system only to tell me the parcel is on its way to the distribution center and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I asked how then I received half of it today. He cannot say. The state of the half package was as if it had been thrown around a bit. Damaged packaging. Thank goodness the contents were in tact. Do yourself a favour. Do NOT use this useless company.
No service, no delivery, no help. Order placed on 8th dec. Firstshop super efficient in taking money. End of service. To date they cannot even get an order of 2 little products together. I have placed 3 other orders on the 12th and 13th from my much better supplier in CT and my products have already been delivered to JHB. Firstshop cannot even get an invoice correct. I pay for 2 products. They invoice me for one of the products. Nothing delivered. In all honesty I think all the good reviews are actually written by staff, Their service does not even exist. Now they need to credit their incorrect invoice before they can close my order and then place a new order based on what I paid for. This may only happen in the new year as they need to locate the product put on the invoice. I have never heard of such ******* in my life. If my business had to operate this way and we dont only resell but manufacture as well, we would have closed down years ago. I havent a clue how they remain in business. OH.. they will reply with shock to your true reviews and state how they want to fix this surprising issue.... nothing happens. Its pure media *******. They dont care. And dont even try calling. they shift the issue to someone who is on leave... Oh sorry, she is on leave now is the response. DONT USE THEM....
If you are looking for customer service, reliable delivery times and just good old fashion service delivery dont even think of using Firstshop. What they say and what they do are far from each other. They will claim to get back to you.... They never do. They state 1 - 3 business days for major centre delivery.... count on a much longet time frame. Cannot give a time as I still have no delivery. I called in a few times and got a response once. The online store stated stock. The operator stated they will try find from a small outlet somewhere. Havent a clue what outlet this is. I got told I would be called back with an expected delivery time. Still no call. I tried calling in and when I give the order number the call suddenly gets cut. I will remain at my current suppliers. Why on earth I tried Firstshop is beyond me. They are useless. Only part they were efficient with was taking my money. Thats where it ended.
Dont buy from PSS for the following reasons: 1. Inverters they sell are rubbish. You get a feedback on the input. 2. They refuse to acknowledge their junk Inverter is the problem. 3. They never feedback to you. 4. They sell you junk and then want to take it in for REPAIRS when it was sold faulty. 5. They dont care. The system was bought and was sold as a high quality inverter. Just because they rebranded a CHEAP inverter with PSS doesn't change the quality. The Inverter was bought for an elderly person who is on permanent oxygen. Due to load shedding it is important to keep a backup system for the oxygen machine. PSS removed the inverter after seeing it was faulty and promised to fix the issue urgently. 24 hrs later we had to call them only to hear that they were not aware that the inverter was collected. We also had to PAY a call out fee before they would come and check their own faulty unit. PSS ARE A RIP OFF. DONT USE THEM AT ALL.
I have never experienced such pathetic service as I am getting from vumatel. I am expected to pay for a service each month and never default however, they never deliver what I am paying for. I currently have 200/200 fibre on my invoice and pay accordingly. HOWEVER, i am lucky to get a 6/2 service. The last 2 days I even experienced a 657ms latency. All done directly from the fibre NTU via ethernet. The only correspondence I ever get is.. Vumatel are working on the problem in your area... It never gets resolved and if it does improve it is for an hour or 2 and then reverts to the pathetic speed. DONT USE VUMATEL.GO OPENSERVE
I was previously with another provider. UNFORTUNATELY vumatel took them over in our area and once vumatel migrated us onto their systems i get dial up modem speeds on my fibre line. When i log a fault with my internet provider they get vumatel to check my line. The speed then comes right for about 2 hours after which is falls back to a crawl. vumatel are useless and DO NOT provide what you pay for. I pay for a 200/200 fibre link and am lucky if I manage to get a 90 result on a speed test. And yes this is being connected directly with a GB ether cable directly to the fibre before they give the same story that it must be my wireless LAN. I will never recommend them to anyone. Fortunately a second provider is starting in our area and I WILL be moving my service across.
I was on SADV and had great service. Internet speed was good and I received the service I was paying for. Suddenly my fibre line became so slow and it took over 3 days to download a 347MB file. Our Zoom sessions became pathetically unstable and would time out. I could no longer run VST connect which I use for work purposes. I only now found out I was moved onto vumatel with no prior notice. My old DSL service with Telkom was far more stable than this vumatel so called fibre line. I log a call and a "reset" is done and my line runs "ok" for a day and then drops back to pathetic speeds. I then also receive an email advising my line speed and cost will be adjusted to vumatel cost (higher) and speed (slower). So I am going to pay more for less???? Do not make use of vumatel.
