I took out a contact with Telkom quick and easy because they want the sales. Good on that. 2 years my contract was should have been done. Jan 2023 I receive an invoice when I call to ask why I was told I did not cancel the contact fair enough I cancel the contact. Feb my account gets debited I call to find out why they told me that it takes 21 days for the contract to be officially cancelled so as from the 1st of feb they loaded the benefits of data and device insurance. I paid the amount that was required because the debit order bounce because they debited my account on the 15 and that was not my debit order date. I called they said it takes 48hours for the funds to reflect I must call again, after 48 hours I called a lady from billing send me to cancelation a lady from cancelation send me to accounts I was just all over the show with them that time I have to drop and call again because they cant transfer the calls. Finally to the correct department I was told they will cancel my contract because the 1st cancelation was not successful as the account had a balance of R271 that I needed to pay I paid and they said they have cancelled. March nothing happens me being under the impression that all has been sorted out, month end march I received an invoice I need to pay R241 when I call to ask they telling me about device insurance. What’s the meaning of cancelation at Telkom? Can I have somebody sorting this out because now when I call it takes me to a what’s up chats that’s very useless.
