capetown@damelin.co.za O216816000 Re: College registration fees My son was accepted at Damelin College for an IT diploma in November 2020 for 2021. See acceptance letter attached. The sales rep is Faldiela Phillips. The sales rep/Consultant kept on for the registration fees of R1000 to book my son's seat/place. February 2021 my son was told he is not accepted. She is an experienced sales rep/consultant and was deceived and bait us to get commission as I found out they get paid commission. Now my son must do an extra course of R40 000 which I do not have. Boston is asking for that same course R30 000 and Boston was honest enough to say my son have to do the course first. I am a low I come earner and that R1000 is 2 months traveling fees to work and back or 62.5 breads. How can I get my R1000 back.
Good day I have paid up my account with Vodacom in September however I am still blacklisted. Who do I contact how do I get my name of the blacklist.
Vodacom after my contract expired still charge me. The law allows them to have a hidden clause in the fine print that allows them to continue charging unsuspecting clients. Any ways I paid them finished as I found out I was blacklisted when wanting to buy something on credit. But this is not the thing. The thing is they quick to take your money however when it comes to give you a settlement letter they are nowhere. I posted them on Hello Peter twice. They sent an automatic message private response a consultant will make contact with me. I am still waiting on a consultant to call me. Why does the law allow phone companies in the first place a clause that says we must do something to have our Contract terminated. It should happen automatically. If you rent a place the contract expired when your time is up. It does not continue. You have to sign a new contract if you want to keep renting. Why cannot this law not apply here. PHONE COMPANIES GET AWAY WITH MILLIONS.
I had an incident with vodacom where they continue charging me after my contract expired. I remembered still canceling my contract as you get a lot of calls for from their call centre for promotions and I told one of them I am not interested. I take the calls is recorded and a told them I got a better offer from another phone company and they should cancel my contract after the last payment. I never used that product again but was secretly charged for it. On stopping my account they blacklisted me as in the fine print their is a clause that states I must cancel the contract. I ask them why does the Law allow I must do something when my Contract expired in order to get my Contract terminated. I put them on Hello Peter where they sent me a private message they will call me back. I never received a call or sms from vodacom. Instead I got a call from a sub contracted legal office telling me to pay the money. What if I was in a coma or dead Vodacom would Continue charging me until eternity. This is white collar crime. I was given the customer service contact details. I phoned and was given the legal dept contact details. I phoned there and was given a sub contract legal dept details. They don't even know what it was all about. All the sub Contract company called TS LEGAL wanted was there money plus their added fees. I called again TS legal several times to resolved the issue. I spoke to receptionist Pauline. The attorneys never returned my calls. Because I wanted to buy something else and faced with a brick wall and nowhere else to turn, I paid the money. I was told to wait 3 days to get a clearance confirmation letter. It's now 3 weeks I am still waiting. I phone Vodacom every time after 3 days and was asked my email address over and over again. I am still waiting.
Vodacom have been charging me for an account that expired some time ago.i was at vodacom in Cape Town and told them my account had expired and I got a better deal with Telkom. I found out recently that I am blacklisted by Vodacom. I was at vodacom twice and they referred me twice and they told me twice they were offline. I was referred to their customer service who referred me to their legal dept who referred me to a hired legal dept call Ts legal. Ts legal could not even tell me what my account is all about all they want is outstanding money. I did not even know I was still paying vodacom as I do not receive any correspondence from them. I don't understand the logic, why must I be forced to give additional notice on a contract that ended? Why must I be forced to pay for a service I am no longer interested in. What if I am a single person living alone and died or went into a coma??? Vodacom would still continued charging me until eternity. THERE SHOULD BE A RULE THAT NO COMPANY CAN CHARGE YOU IF YOUR CONTRACT HAS EXPIRED. It is by luck that I found out vodacom is still charging me. 7 months ago I changed my account details and than vodacom blacklisted me. Only now when I want to buy something on contract I found out I was blacklisted. Someone should sue Vodacom for their atrocities. Is their someone that can do something. To put a Stop to Vodacom criminal white collar crimes. With how many consumers did they not do this to?
