We paid R10,000 to register for an online course through Damelin/Uni4Online. After payment, my daughter was unable to register or access the student portal and never logged into the system. A formal cancellation was submitted and a refund was requested, as no academic services were provided. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, there has been no refund and communication has been extremely poor. This situation is very concerning, especially for students who are trying to invest in their education and may be using borrowed money to study. I strongly urge the institution to resolve this matter promptly and process the refund.

Hi everyone, I have not received any correspondence since my last review, can you believe it. I am still finding it difficult to get my refund since 2024 from Damelin. No one is replying to my follow up emails. It is very concerning for such a big institution to withhold money back.

I paid R10,000 for enrolment in an online course for my daughter. The payment was made via EFT into Damelin (Pty) Ltd – Online’s FNB account. The course had not commenced at the time of cancellation. No academic services were rendered. A formal written cancellation was submitted before the course started. Despite this, no response has been received and no refund has been processed.

I registered with Damelin Online and have not been able to access the short courses for about 5 months, there has been no communication at all - all numbers do not work, they do not respond to emails. Their chatbot people are extremely rude. It is clear that I have been ****med. We finally got ahold of someone who then said they are not in partnership anymore with the short course institution yet they still advertise for it and got debt collectors to call me for payment!

Damelin College is yet to repay me. The child was registered with them and few weeks later the College closed. I tried the whole year to get my money back, sending me from pillar to post

I registered for a diploma in Technical Financial Accounting at Damelin Klerksdorp in 2009 and paid some modules but did not finish my studies because Damelin suddenly closed down without any notice and getting a refund has been a struggle since then till date. I have no diploma and no refund.
