Damelin
Based on recent customer reviews, Damelin is facing severe dissatisfaction from students and parents. A recurring theme is the inability to obtain refunds following campus closures and the institution's deregistration by the Department of Higher Education. Customers consistently mention unresponsive staff, ignored emails, and being passed between departments without resolution. Many reviewers describe difficulty accessing transcripts, qualifications, and study materials, while others raise concerns about debt collection for fees they dispute. Communication breakdowns, administrative disorganisation, and perceived rudeness from contact centre agents dominate the feedback received.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Damelin College/Edocor. On 30 March 2023, I paid the full year’s school fees. Sadly, the student passed away just two days later. I immediately informed the college and submitted all the required supporting documents for the refund process. It has now been years, and I still have not received the refund. Every time I follow up, I am told that “the systems are down,” with no proper resolution, communication, or accountability. This has been an emotionally draining and frustrating experience during an already difficult time for my family. I expected far more compassion, professionalism, and urgency from an educational institution. I sincerely hope this matter is finally resolved and that no other family has to go through the same experience.

The refund department cannot get hold of the finance department via telephone or emails. Few weeks ago it was a system problem. Only 1 lady works with refunds and if and when she is not available, then no one else can assist. Why does Michael Thunley at educor not do anything about these ongoing problems. Surely there must be someone, anyone for that matter be able to assist in any form. For such a big entity where phone calls cannot be directed to the finance department.Really.....i sent an email to Daleena as well, but no response...

Registration errors leading to garnish messages to the wrong person. So I studied with Damelin few years ago and my studies were paid by my employer, I graduated and left Damelin. Later on another student from my company went to study with Damelin what they did, they added her under my profile and it so happen that her studies where not paid. I got a call from their Account Clerk telling me about the error and asking for the company's details and I gave her the details. 7 years down the line today, Damelin goes and submit my name and ID for some garnesh like really?????

We paid R10,000 to register for an online course through Damelin/Uni4Online. After payment, my daughter was unable to register or access the student portal and never logged into the system. A formal cancellation was submitted and a refund was requested, as no academic services were provided. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, there has been no refund and communication has been extremely poor. This situation is very concerning, especially for students who are trying to invest in their education and may be using borrowed money to study. I strongly urge the institution to resolve this matter promptly and process the refund.

Hi everyone, I have not received any correspondence since my last review, can you believe it. I am still finding it difficult to get my refund since 2024 from Damelin. No one is replying to my follow up emails. It is very concerning for such a big institution to withhold money back.

I paid R10,000 for enrolment in an online course for my daughter. The payment was made via EFT into Damelin (Pty) Ltd – Online’s FNB account. The course had not commenced at the time of cancellation. No academic services were rendered. A formal written cancellation was submitted before the course started. Despite this, no response has been received and no refund has been processed.
