Damelin owes me over R35 000 as it shut its doors ,no prior notice given and my daughter now has no qualifications . They refusing to answer any correspondence from consumer credit or dep of higher learning.
I am absolutely disgusted Nd dissapointed with Damelin . I paid over R30 000 for my daughters qualification . They closed down , I'm trying to get a refund since Sep 2025 . The dishonesty *********** staff at the refund dep is sickening
Bought a defy 14 kg top loader ,machine was making a noise when drum was turning . Got a 2nd brand new machine doing the exact same thing ,lint and fluff catcher broke . Contacted hi Fi corp 3 /4 weeks ago to log a fault/ complaint with the machine ,no one from defy service centre delivered a new part or contacted me since then
In 2023 my daughter registered to do a one year course at Damelin . A total amount of over R30 000 was paid prior to her completing her studies and obtaining her qualification . Damelin Pmb shut its doors without informing the students or parents . I am trying to get re embursed for what I paid to date ,there is nothing good or positive I have to say . They have every excuse in the book iro me getting my hard earned money back. I have hit a brick wall trying to Communicate with Educor refund department . There is no urgency in doing what's right and honest .

My experience yet again was nothing short of beyond professional . Again I have taken time to let everyone know of my experience , credit has to be given where it's due ... EL SOMBRERO - DURBAN RD , PMB , The worst experience of my life . My colleague and I are Indians, we sat for abt 25 minutes no waitress came to take our order Yet 3 African patrons that came before us were served their orders were taken . The African Male who arrived after us got his breakfast . The 2 African ladies had given their order and were waiting for their meals . All the while my colleague and I were still seated waiting for a waitress . The spur was not busy as we came in - +10 :05 . My colleague went to the front counter where the manager accompanied us to the table were we seated at . Apologising as my colleague explained how long we were seated for and no waitress came to us to take our order because we both were Indians
I paid an amount of abt R30 000 to Damelin Institution in Pmburg for my daughter to receive a qualification in what she wanted to study . Damelin Pmburg closed down without any prior notice to the parents or students . Therefore my daughter did not finish her studies to get the qualification . Some time has now lapsed where I am now requesting a refund because my daughter's studies was not completed and she has nothing to show for that amount of money I paid . Phone numbers provided rings and there is no assistance ,no feedback as to what is being done to remedy the situation . If u require unprofessionilism at its highest ,here's an institution to register with .
I had to pay an amount of R3994.40 because I cancelled before the 1 year . I paid for the month of June 2025 yet I didn't visit the gym to train . In the month of May I was double debited for R599 × 2 . I was threatened by a lady at the call centre that should I not do the deposit of the total amount due , they will TAKE the entire amount . AS PER THEIR RESPONSE VIA THE HELLO PETER CORRESPONDENCE NO ONE CONTACTED ME . THE PEOPLE EMPLOYED AT THE CALL CENTRE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL ND ABRUPT . I REQUESTED CORRESPONDENCE VIA E MAIL SHOWING THAT MY PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED . I DID NOT RECEIVE IT TO DATE . DAY LIGHT ******* IN MY OPINION !!!
There are so much of costs involved in becoming a member and because I cancelled before the 1 year.period i had to pay extra.added costs. To top this off my because my Sanlam rewards policy was cancelled I was not offered the initial rate I was offered when I joined after 2 months hence the membership went to R599 a month which was out of my budget . Planet.fitness.took the onus upon themselves to have free reign into my back account without .y.knowledge , without my.pemission & without informing me prior that I will be paying R599 a month as my Sanlam Policy was cancelled . Very unprofessional
