The advice is promoted: "If you experience problems with the municipality and have a complaint, then contact the City's Ombudsman". So I did. Complaining that the City ignores my complaints and emails. Now what! Even the Ombudsman ignores me. Two weeks after the due date of 120 days to revert back and a reminder, not even a cricket in the background!
Not every day that you still experience real Customer Services. Had a huge ant problem this year. Home remedies and DIY did not even make a dent, so I decided on Verminator. Worth every cent. After the first session, I was called within a week and the last few ants were soon taken care of! Now been 5 weeks and (touch wood), not even spotted another ant! My future solution!! Thanks to the team!

So, after some seven years, Vodacom decided without notice to cancel my email address and remove it. Or are someone after my bank statements? Who knows. But if your email address is with Vodamail, be very careful! Been trying for a week now to resolve it without luck. Just keep on sending your personal information! Sounds fishy? And when they try and phone you, they let it ring once and put down to say they could not get hold of you! My, my!
At last a company that goes out of their way to make you feel that you matter! I was browsing through their site and that irritating "bot" assistant pops up. "Can we help....?" This time, I decided, I will make use of it! Why not. "Why don't you put product details (eg. dimensions) on your site?" Surely that is what everyone wants to know? I was surprised to see a response that it will be escalated to management. In the meantime, which dimensions were I looking for? Not long, and problem resolved. Sounds regular, isn't it? But trust me, give it a bash on other SA companies. They have a long way to go! Thanks, Dial-a-bed. You do stand out from the crowd!
An NPC (Non-Profit Company) has three directors. One director claims that he has sole mandate over the administration of the NPC. However, FNB refuses to avail statements of the NPC to the other two directors. I can still understand withdrawal and other transactions, but access to the statements?
You know when a "City works for You" when they don't even accept your PAIA applications for information as legally prescribed? Talk about "Customer Relations" and "ratepayers support"! They just block you out and then have no responsibility thereafter. What makes them any different from other metro's?
I find it quite disturbing that ADT uses the COVID 19 Pandemic as period to release their perceived “annual increases”. How many of your Customers are receiving an income over the lockdown period? Other creditors are sending emails on how they propose to assist households during this period, yet you find it more convenient to increase your annual fees? Then, as usual, you distribute an annual financial increase notice with a “No-reply” as sender. What are you scared of getting in reply? Finally, I increased my subscription in January 2020 for this year.
Sally has been providing me with frozen home-cooked meals now for a couple of years. Great selection for everyone to choose from. I mix up between bantry, veggies and then just the normal meals during my order. As the meals are pre-cooked and frozen, it surely do not loose the flavour nor taste. From freezer to microwave, quick and easy! Prices are more than reasonable and the home delivery surely assists! One big thumbs up from me to Sally! You are a star! To many more meals going forward!
We all know that trying to get an answer from a municipality is like finding a needle in a haystack. But you should know that perhaps your are getting too close to the needle when your email is blocked by the municipality?
