I'm writing this review not based on the customer support I received but more on the fact that they have messed up on their side regarding IP addresses that have been switched with my neighbour resulting in me having no access to the Internet for which I have paid for. Needless to say I am not impressed I have to now wait for a turnaround time for them to come and actually reconnect my fiber and honestly I'm basically a sitting duck waiting and unfortunately this is affecting my work and my kids school. I have had fiber for now 2 weeks and in those two weeks after been installed firstly there was no Internet, a guy was sent out to see the problem only to realise that they had switched the IP addresses. He happily assisted us to get us up and running. It was all going well up until yesterday 6 February in the afternoon when my Internet switched off again, then after a call to support and speaking to Simphiwe who was very sympathetic and helpful logged a ticket while on the phone with me and he discovered that once again they switched addresses again with the next door neighbour. Now I know it's the weekend and everything but honestly I paid for a service they messed up on their side and now I'm loosing work and its affecting my kids school work that they need to do. How long do I have to wait for them to correct their error which is now causing a huge problem for me. They certainly don't seem very concerned to rectify the situation as soon as possible that they created. I am truly not happy with this.

I would just like to share my experience with Sazbar Roadhouse Brakpan. Their food is great value for money, I have not had a complaint with them up until recently. We decided to go sit and eat. Yes they were busy however we parked our car a waiter came up to us and asked if we wanted to order take away or sit down. We told him we are going to sit down. He then said someone will come and help us. We sat down and waited for someone to clean the table and give us menu's. Another waiter came to attend to a table that was there before us but at the same time did not try to assist when done with that table. We were sitting for about 10 minutes, then a new table came afterward we had been waiting and not been helped with a another waiter who had no problem cleaning their table and handing them menus and basically helping them while we sat high and dry. I don't know why we were ignored and basically brushed aside. We have been going to this roadhouse for a long time and supporting them and this is how we get treated. I am extremely disappointed and quiet frankly I have not returned since.
On Sunday 5 March 2023 I went to Makro in Brakpan and bought a 7kg Midea front loader washing machine. My 3rd time using the machine it started to leak from the door down. I phoned Midea and was waiting for 7 mins and 39 secs for them to answer my call. After my 4th attempt i eventually got through. I was on the phone for 5 mins and 48 secs only for the lady to say to me that what i told her about the leak doesnt sound right. After that she asked for my name and number, which i gave and got told that a technician will contact me. I waited for an hour to contact me which he didnt as yet. I then proceded to contact makro to state my frustrations as it shouldnt take that long to get in touch with a customer. The guy I spoke to at Makro customer care was more helpful than at Midea. He took all my details and the details of the machine and gave me a ref number.At 11.48 a technician watsapp me saying his name and he would like to assist me with my unit and asked me to provide him with the details. I sent my name and my husbands name with our contact numbers. The make of the machine i bought. explained where it was leaking and sent a photo along. Only to get no reply back. I then went to Makro where i bought it and explained the whole situation. They were on the phone with Midea to help me. The manager at Makro was then transferred over to the technician that i was still waiting for a reply from and he blantly lied and told the lady that he has tried to contact me the whole morning. No where on my phone did i have any missed calls whatsoever. Then he sends me a message while im in the shop and asks me is there is maybe a tear in the rubber. Now i ask you I am the customer, am i a technician. It seems as though they dont take customer complaints seriously and the way in which they handle a complaint is not on. I will definatly never again buy any product like Midea or anything else that is linked to them. It was a huge dissappoint. I do give credit to Makro in Brakpan. The manager and staff that work there know how to handle a complaint and they have customer care. Thank you Makro Brakpan.
I would just warn everyone about fiberstream. They are by far the worst service provider under the sun. In the beginning its all fine when you sign up and pay for the start of the service. Then about a month or so into the service they your internet is on and off, sometimes for a few days. You contact them about this and they tell you that its on their side but you sitting with no internet. Then they want to send a technician out to realign your dish for a wopping R700. And if it needs to be realigned again then you have to fork out more money everytime. On top of it all they do not stick to the monthly agreed price of the internet. They decide as the months go what they would like to debit off your account. Even when i had to move and was thinking of continuing with their service their moving cost was ridiculous. So i wanted to cancel my contract but their manager was so rude on the phone and has zero customer service what so ever. They werent even willing to work out a plan considering i only used their service for about 4 months when it was on. Anyway i moved took down their pole which is now lying in my garage. I am no longer using their service however dew to the contract i signed we agreed that i would continue paying the monthly amount of R898 till the contract was up. According to my contract they are supposed to debit on the 1st of every month. Anyway the 1st of March came and all my debit orders went off accordinaly except for them. So because they didnt debit like they were supposed i eft on the 1st and emailed them proof of payment. And what do know the 2 March came and they decide to debit more money. So i reversed this because i have already paid them even though im not using their service. Today i get a email from them telling me that my account is now in arrears of R157-03 for a returned debit order. Now im sorry but these people are a bunch of money grabbers. I mean come at least i had the decency to eft the amount on the 1st, now they want to get more money out of me. Im sorry they does work for me. So i just want to warn everyone out there who is thinking of using fiberstream. I have never come across a company like this before. Money making racket zero customer care
