I purchased a Midea 13KG Top Loader in August 2024, I have logged a service request in November the Machine leaks, the technician was there only to find out there is a overflow pipe in the machine and And I cannot use the Level 8 water level, when I was a comforter I use level 7 then guess what my bathroom is flooded in water. The day the technician was there I told him the machine makes dark marks on my clothes, he told me to fill the machine with hot water and let it overnight, I did that. This Machine is so horrible, the dark marks are now worse, my towel, whites, colour all full of dark marks!! This machine is only 6 months old, I use it one a week I cleaned it with finish, bicarbonates, salt etc it is really bad. I logged a call with Makro again the 18 Feb, it’s the 24th and I have not had any feedback. I do not want this machine, they must come collect it, I had a Samsung machine for 12 years and never experienced this before.

I am so appalled at the level of service I received from the company. I arranged for a collection of an item 3 weeks ago, the item was only collected last week Thursday. To this day, nothing has been communicated to me. This morning I have been trying to get hold of them through emails, an automated email comes through with a redirection to an email that does not work. Tried calling them several times, thier receptionist keeps on transferring me to a line that just rings forever to no assistance. I want to be assisted with my refund. No one cares to reach out and give me an update. I am really frustrated by how the company lacks a sense of urgency towards thier customers.

Bought a top loader washing machine from Takealot. It worked fine but banged against one side whilst washing. I contacted Midea directly, dealt with a lady called Pinky and she said immediately "the washing machine must be replaced!" They collected the old one and delivered the new one in one transaction, only 2 days after my initial contact. Fantastic service you seldom see anymore! The new machine works perfectly.

Dont ever buy anything from this brand. They dont care about you and your customer service. Their products are problematic and when you ask to be assisted the technican and service agents dont care. Never in my life have a washing machine worked only for 2 weeks from new. And they blame you for the their faulty and terrible products and dont want to refund nor repair you for their service. I would NEVER EVER recommed anyone buying this product. Take my advise.

Dont ever buy anything from this brand. They dont care about you and your customer service. Their products are problematic and when you ask to be assisted the technican and service agents dont care. On Sunday 5 March 2023 I went to Makro in Brakpan and bought a 7kg Midea front loader washing machine. My 3rd time using the machine it started to leak from the door down. I phoned Midea and was waiting for 7 mins and 39 secs for them to answer my call. After my 4th attempt i eventually got through. I was on the phone for 5 mins and 48 secs only for the lady to say to me that what i told her about the leak doesnt sound right. After that she asked for my name and number, which i gave and got told that a technician will contact me. I waited for an hour to contact me which he didnt as yet. I then proceded to contact makro to state my frustrations as it shouldnt take that long to get in touch with a customer. The guy I spoke to at Makro customer care was more helpful than at Midea. He took all my details and the details of the machine and gave me a ref number.At 11.48 a technician watsapp me saying his name and he would like to assist me with my unit and asked me to provide him with the details. I sent my name and my husbands name with our contact numbers. The make of the machine i bought. explained where it was leaking and sent a photo along. Only to get no reply back. I then went to Makro where i bought it and explained the whole situation. They were on the phone with Midea to help me. The manager at Makro was then transferred over to the technician that i was still waiting for a reply from and he blantly lied and told the lady that he has tried to contact me the whole morning. No where on my phone did i have any missed calls whatsoever. Then he sends me a message while im in the shop and asks me is there is maybe a tear in the rubber. Now i ask you I am the customer, am i a technician. It seems as though they dont take customer complaints seriously and the way in which they handle a complaint is not on. I will definatly never again buy any product like Midea or anything else that is linked to them. It was a huge dissappoint. I do give credit to Makro in Brakpan. The manager and staff that work there know how to handle a complaint and they have customer care. Thank you Makro Brakpan.

I purchased a brand new washing machine on 6 May 2022. It was delivered on 7 May 2022. The installation was done 100% according to the instructions in the book. The machine was making a noise while it was off (power was on). The drum clean was done and still the machine was making a noise. I tried a wash cycle - the machine let the water in and that was it it did not want to wash. I brought this to the attention of Makro and they put me in contact with Mastercare to have the machine assessed and fixed at my premises. Today, 12 May 2022 and after numerous emails and calls, Mastercare is still to come to assess the machine. I feel that if I purchased a new machine, why must it be repaired in order for me to use it. It should be in 100% working condition. The least Makro could do was to replace the machine immediately, but now I am waiting to have it fixed. There is something wrong with this and I am not happy about it. I have paid for a new machine and expect it to work first time. In the meantime I have been inconvenienced for 5 days as I am not able to do my washing.
