Bought a top loader washing machine from Takealot. It worked fine but banged against one side whilst washing. I contacted Midea directly, dealt with a lady called Pinky and she said immediately "the washing machine must be replaced!" They collected the old one and delivered the new one in one transaction, only 2 days after my initial contact. Fantastic service you seldom see anymore! The new machine works perfectly.
About a month ago I called Mweb to arrange my home move. I wanted to cancel my OpenServe Fibre on the 24th March and change to Mtn LTE 40/40 for R199 per month. I spoke to Brenda and arranged everything. She explained that the router would be free subject to a 12 month contract and would be delivered to my current address on the 20th March and I would be contacted before then. About two weeks ago I called Mweb and it was confirmed that this was in the system and all in order. M6 order didn't show under orders online so I couldn't trace it that way. On Monday the 20th I called and eventually spoke to Vuyo who said ithe order needed to be released and someone would phone me back. This was a 30 minute call. Nobody called me back. I called again in the afternoon, a further 30 minutes of holding on. Spoke to a man and he assured me someone would call me back that day. Nobody did. I called again this morning as time is running out as my move is on Friday. I was informed that Brenda had forgotten to place my order. Why was this not picked up with my previous calls?. First delivery would be Friday. This is No good as I'm moving on Firday and apparently they can't ask the courier to call when en route to see which address to deliver to. I was then informed that I would now have to buy a router for R1999 as that promotion is over ....really? She forgot to place the order so I must pay for a router? I told Brenda she can cancel everything EXCEPT my email address and I will continue to pay for that. I asked her to please confirm this by email that my email address will remain. This was a 50 minute phone call.No email confirmation from anyone as yet. So after 23 years of being a customer I am so disappointed in the change and decline in the service that used to be amazing. 2 hours of airtime wasted not to mention the frustration and lack of service delivered. I got no apology nor were any steps offered to remedy the situation.
Their product is not great, but my issue is with call out. I had a problem and they insisted that I pay them up front for a call out and the part I may need and it should reflect in their account before they could even confirm when I could get a technician. Once that was done and the technician had been, I didn't need the part I had paid for. It took several emails and finally threatening to involve the CEO before I got refunded after nearly TWO weeks! I will never use them again.
They re-marbelited my pool four years ago. From the get go there were problems, in spite of me following their instructions to the letter....upon starting to fill the pool little patches of the crust were coming off. They returned and sanded the areas....the rest of the pool did the same and once the water was in apparently couldn't be sanded. The marbelite was blotchy and obviously something wasn't right. Now four years on and I have stains and a patch of bare concrete where the marbelite is coming off completely. So I must redo it....don't go near these guys!

I had an Explora decoder installed by them on the 10th June. One week later the decoder started having issues reading the remote...it got so bad that I had to hold the remote right next to the decoder to make it work. I bought a new remote so know it's the decoder reading issue not the actual remote. I have been phoning asking for the technician to return to check the setting and connections since Wednesday the 22nd June.......I have been phoning repeatedly and to no avail. The receptionist refuses to give me a cell phone number for the manager who is apparently never there (sic)nor will she give me an email address for the manager other than the "sales@dstvshop which will obviously be deleted before the manager gets to see it. ....she told me to phone the technician direct...I have done this too...I don't know where to turn....I have contacted DSTV too but the bottom line is I believe the technician (and I use the word loosely) is probably not coming as he doesn't know how to remedy the issue?

On the morning of 23rd December I went looking for last few Christmas items. They had no cream and no whole chickens at all. Found what I needed at Checkers.
Thursday 21st January I went back to do my grocery shopping. The following list is all the things I needed that they didn't have...
Pedigree Small Adult dog chunks, Friskies Dry Deep Sea Delight cat food, Hand Wash (none at all of any brand), St Dalfour jam, no peach fig or apricot, Trim Mayonnaise, Sea Harvest Batter Dipt or Country fry fish, Parmalot Fabulite yoghurt strawberry flavour, HTH see through floating chlorinator, Addis super wipes.
Not mentioned are all the other gaps I saw on the shelves which I luckily didn't need. I will be taking my business to Checkers in future.
Sue Wernberg
I purchased a squeaky pig dog toy yesterday at a pet shop in Cradlestone Mall in Krugersdorp made by Zooz Pet Products. After ten minutes of play with my Maltese Poodle this toy came apart and she was managing to pull pieces off it which were easy to swallow and therefore dangerous.
Considering this cost R85 I am not impressed at all. I googled this company but could only find a phone number which goes to fax so am unable to contact them directly.
Sue
