I returned my rented car to Thrifty on 28th January, to this day I have not received my deposit refund. First they charged me more that my rental and deposit then they delayed paying my refund. I have called them repeatedly for weeks and send emails and have been sent from pillar to post eventually I was told that my refund was paid to the wrong account and they are investigating it, I asked why should I wait for that investigation to be finalized when this is not my fault its their system. I have asked to talk to Managers in the refund department but for some reason no one wants me to talk to Suleman, the consultants keep telling me that the matter is escalated , its now 8 weeks with no refund. Thrifty provided such bad service, firstly they added a, extra charge in my account on top of deposit and rental charge, then I returned the car on 28th January today (22nd February 2022, the refund is not paid, I send an email to which no one responded to, I called to inquire abut this their agent was just as surprised and kept repeating everything I say eventually told me to call Thrifty, this ****led me because isn't that what I did and got through to him??? The one thing that I picked up from him was that the refund is paid to the wrong account not mine. How does that happen? the guy kept asking me about it, how would I know? i'm a client and I just need my refund thats all.
I bid at the property auction and I was the highest bidder, I was required to pay a deposit on that offer with the understanding that if the offer is rejected I will be refunded immediately. It's a week now and I have not been refunded, they take me from pillar to post. I have never come across an offer to purchase that has to be accompanied by a payment however i complied because I wanted that property now i regret ever attending their auctions and i regret paying them
I submitted a claim in July, they wanted a lot of documents including proof of forced entry, how do I proof forced entry if my car was lock jammed? I went to nearby shops but they didn't have camera's. My claim is still not paid and the manager handling the claim is not giving me feedback.
