I bought a Mobicel smartphone a while back, I am impressed with the phone, however the backup service is far from satisfactory, a few months ago I cracked the screen, I contacted I various reputable repair places (not backstreet repairers) but to my dismay none of them will repair the screen, due to this inconvenience I bought a new cellphone and I didn't even consider another Mobicel product, a week ago I contacted Mobicel directly online, I gave them my details and sent them a message asking where the nearest repairer is in Cape Town, I also asked them to mail me a quote on a replacement screen, up until now nobody has responded to my request, I wanna get the screen fixed so I can use this phone as a spare, I dont have a problem with the device , However I do have a problem with there poor service, because of this I wont recommend a Mobicel product to anybody, it has been an absolute nightmare trying to get this screen fixed, this is a straightforward repair so why is there so much red tape,
I'm actually disgusted that companies like Smartcalltech are allowed to even apply for a business license, this is a company that I and many other feels has no integrity, this evident from the amount of complaints and judgments against there name, I wanted to take a subscription out with Keep2Share, as I was about to load my details a notification popped up that informed me if I do a survey I would get a 30-day free trial, keep2share is a reputable download/streaming site that people I know belong to, so with this in mind I thought, "what have I got to lose" , I was under the impression this promotion was being run in conjunction with keep2share, I filled in the survey and realized I had been mislead, instead of getting a 30-day free subscription I was slapped with the scam of winning an iPhone or a Samsung smartphone, to add insult to injury I was automatically subscribed to Quiz2win @ fee of R7 per day, after a minute a or two another pop up appeared which informed me I that my Keep2Share free subscription was waiting on the condition that I complete another survey with more options, (eg Bible quotes, health, newsfeed, etc), I soon realised this was the same scam again, if I had continued to claim the Keep2Share subscription I would be paying R7 a day for another service, it most probably would have gone on and on, in otherwords this company would have scammed me over and over again, and I would have received nothing, they have sent me about 100 text messages informing me I have been subsribed to quiz2show, they did however leave an email address along with a telephone no and an opt out no, if I wanted to opt out I have to SMS STOP to 42364, however this no does not work, what would you expect from a company like this, I have SMS'd them five times, and each time, instead of getting a notification that I have opted out, I receive a notification that I am still subsribed, I work in information security and I should have known better, I'm partly to blame for not paying attention, however this does not excuse the conduct of STS, this company uses a tactic known as "AMBUSH MARKETING", which does not constitute honest and fair business practice, this practice is illegal in most countries around the world , STS has so many complaints and so many Judgments against it, that my question is, "why are they still allowed to trade", they are scammers in the guise of a promotions company tha's using loopholes in law to jump through, I have written a complaint which is to graphic to publish, companies like STS need to be banned by there internet service providers, it clearly states in almost every internet service providers terms and conditions that an internet service provider can terminate the service if a company is conducting itself dishonestly or using ambush marketing, scammimg or phishing, and will be blacklisted , STS and companies like it are a menace to tthe internet , they have ruined the internet, this is why we have adblockers and pop-up blockers, before companies like this came along we never needed them
WeFix Repair specialists in Century City Claim to repair all mobile devices, yet this is untrue, they fix certain mobile devices, however why don't they stipulate this on there website, I enquired about having my screen replaced on my Mobicel smartphone only to told that they do not repair mobicel devices, so the question needs to be asked, "what exactly are they repair specialists in", no reason was given as to why they cant fix the device, yet my local cellphone repair shop on the corner can repair the device, so is this a case of a company that's all show and no go, I find it ridiculous that a copmany that supposedly has high reviews cant replace a screen on this device, I had no problem with them when they repaired my Ipad and was charged over R1200, am I led to believe that this company who repairs Ipads cannot replace a screen on a Mobicel smartphone, so what exact devices does wefix actually fix , when they stipulate mobile devices what does that mean, I may speak under correction but isn't my mobicel device a mobile device, I feel this is a case of false advertising from a company that isn't diversified enought to repair all mobile devices, becasue if they were then there would be no problem in repairing my device, my cellphone shop on the corner that isn't a huge maul, with fancy display cases featuring the newest products can repair but wefix can't , they cannot resolve this issue becasue it's unresolvable, however I do feel that wefix needs to practice what they preach, we dont all use Samsung and Apple Products, I feel that this is short sightedness on behalf of Wefix, I guess those who claim to be the best are not the best after all From: weFix Sent: Wednesday, 14 April 2021 09:49 To: dashrendar.nk@outlook.com Cc: hello@wefix.co.za Subject: Re: Online Enquiry - Something else Hi Dashrendar.nk, Ticket: 116815 We do not repair Mobicel devices & cannot assist you at this time. wefix , phone in century city is useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, useless, what a white Elephant if ever there was one, it's all show and no go, find them laughable, they should rather call themselves wefixonlycertainmobiledevices, I enquired about having my Mobicel smartphone screen, only to get a response back that they don't repair Mobicel products, what is the point of bragging and advertising that u repair all mobile devices, when you don't, well, what do you expect from a useless, all show and no go company like Wefix, maybe they should call themselves webull****

Hi I feel I've been short changed I took an almost new 500gig Seagate portable Hard drive to cash converters Bellville and I was given R75 for it, I hardly ever used this hard drive and it was in immaculate condition, USB 3.0 , this is not right I saw similar hard drives at other cash converters for roughly R500, I feel this hard drive was at least worth R250, the one guy that helped us didn't let us get a word in edge ways, I'm a bit disappointed, there is definitely something wrong, I would appreciate it if somebody can assist in this matter
