What started out as an intention to cancel my policy due to the call centre consultant not having the correct details on hand turned around into a good experience with the Platinum life consultant . She managed to disperse any misgivings and concerns and I decided to stay with Platinum Life.

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREY PRODUCT SUPPLIERS
In December 2019 - 6 months after the purchase of a motorbike battery - the battery died. It was taken to them and they replaced the battery with another brand of battery. again 9 months later their battery died and when I called to speak to the lady she said there is nothing they can do and I should purchase a battery elsewhere.

Exceptional Customer Service Skills by store manager
I visited the new Food Lovers Market in Waterfall Midrand, in the beginning of August 2021 and found them to have chicken thighs & drumsticks pieces on special. I bought 2 packs (1 of each) and went on my merry way . The next day we planned on using the thigh portions and upon opening up the pack we discovered that there only ribs at the bottom of the tray, along with all the gunk of the chicken which essentially amounted +/- 1kg of a 2 kg pack. I contacted the manager of the store and she asked me to come through with the whatever remains of the chicken we had. As i was recovering from an operation my husband went to the store. The manage not only refunded my full value but also compensated me with a tray of quality chicken for all the inconvenience. I would have to say it was a #Win #Win situation on that day. I was so pleased with her and called her to thank her, but she had already left for the day. Great customer service these days, is as scarce as hen's teeth and we need to compliment the people when good customer service is provided. I will definitely shop there again as I know that they have their customers' best interests at heart.

Outstanding Customer Service
I spoke to Craig Classen...Senior Financial Advisor. He did a policy review for me and i was very happy with the outcome. He was understanding of the currently issue plaguing our country and also understood that premiums cannot increase drastically . It was worth a call to him.
