Good morning My name is Daphney Nkobi. On the 09th of February 2023 I registered a claim, which was authorised on the 26th February 2023. Discovery nominated Flora Auto Clinic panel beaters to fix my vehicle, and I took it there as per their instructions,and they promised to finish with it within two weeks time,but to date I haven't received my car back. When I called Discovery on Monday to find out how am I going to get by with my daily duties without a car, since I had to return back the courtesy car that I was using for the past 30 days while waiting for my car. They told me that 30 days is the maximum lease agreement time for clients to be assisted while the car is being fixed. What I would like to find out is that is Discovery going to reimburse me for using my money to pay Ubers while waiting for my car to get back,heaven knows when? Are they even making a follow up with their chosen panel beaters? Well I doubt, cause they don't even bother calling me to inform me about the progress on my vehicle. I'm very disappointed with the service I got from Discovery Insurance and wouldn't even recommend any one to insure their cars with them.
I took a household insurance with Agility, a few years ago and the unfortunate happened. I had a roof leakage, due to rain and I took a video as it happened and sent it to them. As if the evidence was not enough, when I called them for a follow up ,they took me from pillar to post and ended up not paying my claim. My advice to anyone who wants to take out any insurance, is to do a background check of the company of interest, as well as know their offices in order for you to be able to know where to go to in case of such unfortunate events. Let's expose such companies and help others not to become the victims of these scammers DN Gauteng
Hello Peter Just to let everyone know that Telkom Call Centre Service is worse than COVID-19 I cancelled my LTE account to move to Fiber, in April on the 23rd to be specific. To date, they’re still billing me & when I make a follow up, nobody knows what’s going on. I then decided to go to the branch & when I got there,unfortunately they couldn’t help me but instead they logged a call on my behalf . The lazy consultants called me back & they all verified me and put me on hold for ever and later hung up on me “three of them to be precise “. I guess that’s what they’re getting paid for. They specialize in ruining people’s lives .
Today I had a phenomenal experience with Shafick Allow from Discovery Insure. He was so helpful and very informative. He offered me the excellent service ever.
