On December 20th, 2024, I visited Mugg & Bean at Eastgate Mall and experienced unacceptable customer service. I ordered a classic breakfast and specifically requested that my eggs be well done, with no moist yolk whatsoever. The waitress took my order, but when my plate arrived, the eggs were runny. I politely called the waitress and asked her to return the plate to the kitchen to redo the eggs. Unfortunately, when the plate came back, the eggs were still runny. I called her again, but she was attending to another customer, so I waited patiently. Another staff member or supervisor noticed my frustration and asked if everything was alright. I explained the issue, and he personally took my plate back to the kitchen, understood my request, and returned with the eggs cooked as I had requested. I appreciated his assistance and finally enjoyed my meal. However, when it was time to pay, I decided not to tip the waitress due to my unpleasant experience. She had the audacity to ask, “You’re not going to tip?” and when I said no, she repeatedly tried to justify why she deserved one. I calmly explained that as a customer, I was unhappy with the service and did not feel obliged to tip. Despite this, she continued to argue, ignoring my dissatisfaction and the long delay I experienced before being able to eat. The situation escalated to the point where I had to ask her outright, “Am I being forced to tip you?” before she finally backed off and attempted to act friendly. This experience was extremely distasteful and disappointing. I lost over 40 minutes due to errors with my order, and instead of receiving an apology or acknowledgment, I was pressured into tipping despite my frustration. Based on this interaction, I cannot recommend Mugg & Bean at Eastgate Mall to anyone and will not be returning.
Worst "banking app" known to man. The app has been glitchy and unresponsive for 2 working days now, and I am unable to transact. The fact that I am unable to access or transfer my funds means that I have to struggle, meanwhile I know I have money in my eZaga account. Customer service is extremely poor! Don't bother opting in to their services!
My account was closed by FNB without my notification..since last week I have been trying to get this matter sorted...finally being fed up I called their complains department hoping this will resolve my matter....but to my suprise nothing I recieved messages from FNB informing me they are investigating the matter and will come back in 2 working days....two days came and went no phone call, meaning customer service with FNB is not a priority....and yet everyday 'How can we help you'...I wonder who are they talking to because their slogan is not in relation to their customers. If you can, do not bank with FNB...too big and too important to worry about their customers.
