Leapfrog Roodepoort - They have a total disregard for the Treating clients fairly & NCA act. They don't respond to emails. Since December 2021 i have been asking for my usuage statement in regards to water, to date i have not received a response. Today i received an debit order notice stating that they are going to deduct almost R500 from my account tonight due to them guessing the Electricity usuage and them being too incompetent to do their job to get the accurate statements from the municipality on a monthly basis. I have received no communication from them prior to receiving the debit order deduction notice informing me about the mess that they made. They are just deducting money from my account without my approval. In 2021 the same thing happened they guessed my Electricity usuage. I asked for my Electricity statements. They picked up that they under charged me and that i still owe over R1000 over the period, because they didn't put the accurate amounts on my invoice. I paid it but now it is happening again. This company is a joke, they just do what they want with no regard towards the regulations. This company just deducts funds from accounts when they want to and how much they want to. They are too lazy and incompetent to do their job and the customer must pay and suffer for it. How is it fair that a customer must pay a lump sum amount for months worth of electricity that they guessed incorrectly? If the correct amounts was given each month the almost R500 would have been splitted. I don't mind paying what i am due but i do mind having to continuously pay lump sum amounts due to lazyness and negligence and then them not even having the decency to discuss their mess with me first. I don't have the funds to continuously pay these lump sums.
I have asked on multiple occasions for the debit order to be removed. I have requested months ago for my contact to be canceled. I have received confirmation that it has been canceled with a one month waiting period. Unauthorized deductions are still being made to my account. I have sent multiple emails but my emails are being ignored.
Cartrack came to install the device into my car end of September. It stopped working a few days afterwards. They didn't inform me. It drained my vehicles battery they still didn't inform me anything. I saw on the app that it shows disconnected. I then emailed them where i was told that there is a problem with my device and that i will have to pay R1200 for a new GPS Unit. It's impossible that something could have happened to the unit in a couple of days when no one knows where the unit is placed never the less actually touching anything on the unit. I have been trying to get the matter resolved with absolutely no urgency from Cartrack. They were very quick to call back when requesting a quote but now the after sales service is pathetic.
