On January 18 this year, a BritelinkMCT vehicle broke a 3 metre high succulent, on my pavement in half. It has taken me about 14 years to grow. The driver just drove off while I was shouting for him to stop. I have tried to contact them numerous times, but they don't respond to my messages.
Don't be fooled by the Courier Guy's massive advertising campaign. My supplier sent a parcel from Lonehill (JHB) 7 days ago, - it still hasn't arrived in Northcliff (JHB). The Courier Guy did not contact me to inform me that there is a problem, I had to try to contact them. After 3 attempts they finally rep****. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for my parcel.
Emailed AMT regarding epoxy and a filler (silicon dioxide) for a bathtub repair. Loraine responded quickly and efficiently asking Evan Shaw if he could please "advise". I then got another email from Loraine stating that they were "unable to quote". When I asked why, I was told it was "not something they stock". Epoxy resin and fumed silica are both on their website but Evan clearly can't be bothered with a sub R1000 order. My opinion, - unless you are building an ocean-going yacht, shop elsewhere.
I would rather not have a Discovery credit card if I have to deal with DSV again. DSV Couriers (on behalf of Discovery) has not managed to deliver my credit card since it expired in March this year (2020). (Naturally Discovery has continued to charge me for a card I don't have). DSV Has not delivered the card on the days they arranged with me, let alone between the specified times. I am self employed, so staying home to wait for a courier is costly to me. DSV gave me exactly the same excuses as they did a few years back when my previous Discovery card expired. There is really not a rating low enough for DSV.
