We had our electricity meter ****** last week Wednesday and since then have been sitting without power. We immediately reported the theft to Eskom to request a replacement only to find out 5 days later that our request had not been logged properly. It is ridiculous that there is no way for us to be able to follow up besides an AI bot that tells us nothing that we don't already know.
This company is an absolute joke... Problem 1: they requested cancelation with evotel resulting in our internet being switched off without communication. I called them and was on hold for 1.5 hours only to be told that the problem was with evotel. I then called evotel and they told me that they dont have an active service because mweb requested that it was cancelled. We did not request a cancelation. Problem 2: double billing on month 1, no communication given I work from home and having no internet is costing me. DO NOT USE THEM AS A SERVICE PROVIDER. NOT ONLY DO THEY CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT WARNING THEIR SERVICE IS ABSOLUTEKY TERRIBLE!!!!!
Please be very careful purchasing online from Cash converters. I purchased a laptop in January and the screen started going black in March. I contacted the branch(Moralateo Park) I purchased it from as they offer a 6 month guarantee. They first told me that the laptop will be collected in the morning and that the technician would be waiting at the store to repair it and return it the same day, then they told me that the laptop may take overnight to get to them. Now they are unable to tell me how long the laptop will take to be repaired and as a self employed person I obviously need to work to earn money. Even though the branches are franchises I honestly think there should be a link between branches for repairs especially as we are able to purchase online. Not to mention how I was spoken to by the manager of the store. I asked for the owners number and she refused to give it me. Think twice before purchasing from them.
I had a package sent from the UK to SA. It arrive promptly in Johannesburg and then got stopped by customs port health for a routine inspection, I am now thinking that is just standard procedure. After numerous emails to customer service who really couldnt give me any information other than it a routine inspection, I realised I just had to wait for it to clear. The problem is when it eventually did arrive there was an item missing from my package!! I have emailed the consultants who assisted me and I have also sent through a claims form and I have had zero response!!! I want an explanation of what happened to the item that is missing and also why are they opening our packages??????? It can be scanned surely.
We paid for accommodation and at the last minute the property owner cancelled claiming that the property has been damaged. I immediately contacted booking.com to request assistance for a refund. To date I have sent proof of payment numerous times, tried calling their customer care number and I just get put on hold and no resolution on refund. Please be very careful when booking through them. We are now over 14k put of pocket and no sign of receiving a refund even though I was told by a customer care consultant Gabrielle that booking.com will refund us and chase the property owner for the money. That's the last I heard. Useless.
This is the 2nd time I have been a customer of Liquid Capital. The 1st time the service was amazing, the product worked as it should and I had zero issues. For these reasons I decided to use them again for a Service Plan. This time around I am incredibly disappointed in the level of service. I have made numerous attempts to make contact either via their website or telephonically, to no avail. My account debit date has changed without me requesting it and apparently I have a unpaid debit, which I had no knowledge of and have not be contacted about. Just this morning alone I have made 4 phone calls and still have not been able to resolve my query! I am not sure if it is under new management or what is going on. It is incredibly disappointing, 2 years ago I would've highly recommended this company, today definitely not!!
I was retrenched in May. I applied for Normal UIF in June. Its now November and I have not received a single cent of my benefits even though I have been paying UIF since I started my career. I have spent most of my career creating employment and development opportunities for unemployed youth in my country and now when I am unemployed there is zero support!! I have applied online , I have emailed my supporting documents, I have been to the DOL in my area, I have joined the facebook pages for support, I have emailed numerous employees of the UIF including the Acting Commissioner Marsha Bronkhorst and despite all my efforts I have received no assistance in finalising my application. I am so disappointed in my Country, as a South African Citizen. I know that there are thousands of people also waiting for their money. How are we supposed to provide food and shelter for ourselves and our families? I am losing hope!
