bought it 6 October 2024, used for 3 hours, for two days, noticed oil leak when its on. returned it Thursday 10 October 2024. Requested a refund with no excuses. was told they would return it to Ryobi on the 11th October 2024 so I have to wait for the feedback and refund. 15 October 2024, called them for updates on my refund, advised machine is still at Makro and not collected. I just want my money really, these delays are unnecessary, less than 7 days of buying this its its faulty! I didn't make this purchase for leisure purposes it was done because of an electric emergency I 'm facing at my house, so this withholding of my refund is a huge pinch.
Rented a car for six months, called in month 4 regarding an oil leak, 2 weeks later car was exchanged, 2 days later Preeshan the consultant sends a video showing the undercarriage of the car via whatsapp and text " I broke the clutch and invoice will follow". Couple of days later an invoice of R11 k minus my deposit comes from Pace . I then ask where is the mechanicals report for these findings or formal invoice from the workshop, I receive no answer. It is now September, Diana from Pace JHB calls and emails about this unfound R11k asking if we can make a payment arrangement, again I ask for the mechanicals report as evidence, 2 weeks later invoice from Suzuki Umhlanga is emailed. 1. car was due for 45 000km service and over by 1500km + 2. clutch damage replacement 3. oil sealant replaced. I spoke to workman who explained the invoice Mdu suzuki Umhlanga and confirmed the clutch damage was due to wear and tear. Told Diana at Pace, she called and even got an email from the workshop manager Mr Maharaj-Suzuki Umhlanga confirming clutch damage was due to natural wear and tear. as for the oil sealant that was caused by hit on a pot hole or something, furthermore in black and white the manager mentions that there was no charge for labor as the car was already stripped to have the clutch assessed and replaced. Evidence attached. This report is done 25 September 2024 I then request for my deposit to be refunded minus the oil sealant which is R334 +, i get no response. 27 September I get a call from Diana saying her manager has said we should go 50 50 on the labor therefore no refund is due. I then ask her how are you charging me for labor that's stated in black and white this it was free, secondly why is this being said on a telephone call and not via email, 3rdly for the past 2 months you guys have been blaming me for a R15k debt now after my countless calls and questionings no apology for your wrongful accusation, instead you want to keep my deposit. Please see attached 1.Original false Pace invoice 2. Suzuki invoice 3. Email from Suzuki workshop manager explaining the invoice and workdone 4. My last email to Pace I just want my deposit back of R4000 minus R334.40 for the sealant. Its 2 months later and the evidence is in black and white
