I would like to firstly Say, that the ladies at the Space Mall of Africa are by far the best sales people this franchise have hired, they were very accommodative and welcoming, above all they were always happy to assist. But I won’t say much about the Space in Rosebank mall, the ladies at store are unwelcoming and really look down on people, I was left looking as though I don’t deserve to be in their shop. There’s an elderly lady there who seems to be the owner or manger I’m not sure, she really made me feel like I’m wasting her time while being at that shop and all I needed was a beautiful designer item. It’s difficult to support our own South African designers when sales people treat you like you don’t deserve to be in their shop. I’m truly disappointed by their treatment. And honestly sad to say I will never spend my hard earned money at their store again. By the way I had bought a dress. And that will be the last item I’ll ever purchase. Classism should be stopped in the black community honestly.
I'm truly disappointed with this insurance company, in 2015 I was approached by one of the consultants, to open a funeral policy for my family, to my surprise every time I added a family member as a beneficiary a new policy was being opened in my name I ended up paying for 3 policies under my name, which is really frustrating and I believe was truly *********. with that said I was frustrated the amount of money being milked from me in this economy. at this point I have cancelled all theses policies last month only to realize that they have deducted money this month. after clear emails were sent to council Policies. I had so much confidence on this insurance company but unfortunately, this was just the worst experience ever.
Worst experience ever! They don’t communicate well to have have to call and do follow ups on your own, they will drag claim for months and end up not assisting, You pay monthly premiums for nothing don’t even waste your money!!
On the 14th of September 2020 I gave birth via C-section at Parklane hospital I have been receiving countless Calls from the Anesthesitis who administered the epidural, informing me that they only got paid a portion off fees. I have called Gems enquiring about the payment, and I was told that PMD has been requested and I’ve since had to wait for their response. Gems has made my pregnancy unbearable up until delivery. They are never straight forward with their customers when it come to claims.. we need a clear indication off what they can pay !! Cos we end up having to pay service providers out off our pockets Why are we paying medical aid for!!!
