Over a period of months, I have placed several orders for pens and inks with Write GEAR (www.writegear.co.za). Every order has been handled and shipped professionally, and I have received really good service. I highly recommend them. Too often we complain but don't praise. Well, Write GEAR deserves recognition for being awesome.
Blitz has cabled the complex where I live. Today the installation at my unit was done. The team worked neatly and were friendly. They told me the line would go active later today. I called Blitz by phone to ask if there was anything I needed to do. They confirmed I should contact the ISP to get my login details. I did so and received a username. But, the internet connection light on my router has remained unlit because the fibre in my complex is not live despite the sign that was posted outside the complex. Yesterday a neighbor was told the lines will be live tomorrow. And this evening, the same neighbor has been told the lines will be live tomorrow. I am really annoyed by this sort of thing.
If I could aware a negative nuber of stars for this insurer, I would. I have tried to contact Standard Bank Insurance several times this last week to register a claim. It is impossible to get through to a Call Centre agent. And the mystery voice just keeps telling you they are experiencing high call volumes. I held on for 15 minutes on day, 12 minutes on a different day, sent a call back request (Sales got back to me 48 hours later!) and sent an email to the only email address I could find for them. No response. I have been with this insurer for about 17 years. I think in that time, I have needed to claim only two or three times, but right now I'm so frustrated that I think I will take my business elsewhere. The alternative quotes I've just received for comprehensive insurance are much cheaper. It's a pity it has taken me so long to catch on.
GloCell sent me an SMS telling me my account is in arrears and threatening me with blacklisting and the Credit Bureau. I left GloCell in 2016 because of bad service. I no longer have an account with them since about Oct 2016. At the time, I had to fight with them to get my RICA details properly linked to my number so that I could got to another service provider. I guard my credit rating and reputation very jealously. If my credit rating or reputation is damaged in any way, I will be very much less than amused.
