Utter nonsense of service.Sound bar went in for repairs over 2 weeks ago(mind you the sound bar just stopped giving out bass) To my surprise I went there today,(20 December 2025),so that I can get feedback as to how it's going,but no they didn't even take it in. So basically it's still sitting in their store,and apparently only the remote(which is totally fine),was taken for repairs,yet it doesn't need any repairs. The lady tells me that she was on leave and didn't request for the sound bar to be taken in,and that the repairs department is going to close anyways. Horrible,horrible,horrible service ,frustrating has turned into hate. I logged a phone claim,it got approved, but no waybill number was sent,no information about the courier was communicated. They said phone will be delivered 3-5 business working days. I'm writing this, it's the seventh day and I still don't have a phone ,which I heavily rely om for work. November 24th was the beginning of the count down. I'm writing this it's the 2nd of December 2025. I also blaim telkom for using this insurance because they advertise it to us consumers. I checked for other reviews of them,an non are positive whatsoever ,it's sad to see we all experiencing the same thing.I have sent emails asking for the courier service and waybill ,to no response. And just to add on,my sister lost her phone in Joburg last time ,and had to claim,it literally took her 2 months to get a replacement phone.
Vosacom strikes again . Honestly at this point I'm tired and my mom is frustrated. So on my last review I did mention how they were debating an amount not agreed upon,well just as expected they debited an even larger amount now. Hello Peter did assist us the last time and Vodacom came to take their home router ,in order for the contract to be canceled 😞, they said we should call to get assurance that the contract was canceled, of which we did ,and they told us that the contract does not appear on their side ,and it was canceled, we should expect a lower amount of money to be debited. As compensation, they offered us a new router and package upgrade on our 2 already existing packages(these numbers would get 50mbps internet speed,and home routers ,for the same amount of money every month,meaning no increase to the installment)each cost R450 ,so that is R900 ,there is a third contract that is suppose to cost R100 ,but with Vodacom being Vodacom ,it's around R130 ,plus R50 extra for us to keep my original number. The total amount we expect to be debited is R1180. Now tell me why we get to debited a whole R1500. This is utter nonsense ,and we want to be back payed for the other 2 months were we were debited R1400. We are tired now ,damn ,if it is possible ,let them cancel everything, so that I stop writing reviews about them ,Telkom seems like a better network anyways.
On the 26th of April 2024,I got a debited an amount that was bot agreed upon by Vodacom,after investigations whgere made,we discovered that a wrong upgrade was made on a Vodacom contract that was suppose to be cancelled. The counsaltant on the other line of the call was Gabsile Fakude,she assured us that she launched a upgrade reversal,and Vodocom would contact us with 72H ,it is past 72H ,as I am writing this complaint on the 5th of May 2024. This worries me ,as they will repeat this again this month and i will have to have a back and forth with them. i am utterly dissapointed ,just as I had praised them previoulsy ,they just cant seem to stop on wanting to dissapoint their clients. And no case /reference number was given for me to do a follow up.
Very exceptional service from a Vodacom employee Nonhlahla Fakude, from the Vodacom branch in Durban, Umhlanga, not only did she give us the best deals we could ever get, but her friendly voice, and contagious energy will help Vodacom retain customers. I am pleading with Vodacom to give her an R10 000 incentive, she is phenomenal. Thank you Nonhlanhla Fakude, you are the best please keep up the great work.
If i would give it a 0 i most definitely would. I get invoices of various amounts ranging from R138 to R149,mind you I don't even have any fibre installed ,I have mever paid any activation key. This is a total scam and I'm tired of getting invoices on my email. I can't cancel their package on their website ,tgis company has to shutdown.
I just wish I could give them 0 stars, they are a waste of time and a scam, I ordered 1 big Mac with promotion saying I'll get 1 free, I got 1 meal and Tha driver was disrespectful, his name is Bello Abideen, they have bad service and don't respond to complaints, they should ****en **** down I hate scoot. Just a waste of time and money and their delivery fee is expensive.
An update regarding the situation I had with Vodacom. They promised to allocate 20GB of data to my contract number 0662111364, still I have not received it because they sent it to a different contract number. This was a mistake on their side but now I have to suffer by waiting for a minimum of 48Hours and a maximum of &2 Hours, which I find unfair because I need to use the data, I cant wait for 3 whole days for something that should be sorted now, I'm tired of Vodacom's incompetence, I expected better service delivery compared to this. I have a contract with Vodacom , and I can't wait for it to end, I am seriously disappointed in their service. I get 30GB of data daily and 30GB night owl. I had been using the wifi day and night and my data would last for up to a maximum of 28 days in a month, minimum would be 26 days (highly unlikely)but as of November my bundles run out earlier within 10 days, which I find impossible cause I use them the same way I used to before, I called Vodacom on the 17th of December to lay a complaint but they still haven't responded, my family member has the same problem with Vodacom. I have a separate contract that I have from MTN with the same bundle, but it last over 30 days, I'm tired o dropping my money on Vodacom, I want people to avoid taking contracts with them. My contract number is 0662111364.(I WANT MY DATA BUNDLES BACK!!!!!!!!!!!)including the one from last month.
