Retirement Annuity optimizer payout not paid.
I just do not have energy to fight with discovery anymore. They keep failing me and I saw a lot of bad review about them. I have retirement annuity optimizer plan with them from 2008, I wanted to retire at the age of 55, past already on 25 of August 2025. Now these was with investment policy as well, paid out after a fight, but just not retirement annuity. They are bad communicators with all respect, they does not keep up their promises, someone took over when I queried the payout of investment, it is 2 weeks, last week I send him e-mail to finds out what is happening with retirement optimizer payment? Nothing to date. Can we even trust them they will pay out on our life covers when we are dead?

Capitec bank poor services
Money deposited on the ATM in Silverton on Tuesday just before 13:00 or so. The ATM run an error after I put the R5,000 in the cash slot. The funds are for their client who was busy preparing for the funeral. When the ATM run error I reported it immediately their staff promised me money will be on their client account within 24 hour, their client received message to report Money will be with her within 48 hours. Today still the money is not with their client. Now I am running around to sort Capitec mess waiting in their bank phoning and e mailing their head office. Maybe the griving family must just bring the corp here for funeral These is sad for South African number 1 Bank.

Discovery health cry faul over passing of NHI bill
When I wrote a review on I'll treatment by Discovery health. Discovery did not give me any attention instead they throw me to and from. I ended paid my medical bill treatment. Now the NHI bill is signed by President Ramaphosa. Guess what Discovery CEO is send e-mail as if his company care for his customers. If I have to vote between medical aid and NHI, I will go for NHI and cancel medical aid. Discovery cannot pull out a victim card on NHI Bill signed and vow to fight as NHI does not favours them. With my condribution of more than R2k a month here am I sick with flue. I cannot buy medicine or even go to a doctor because Discovery will not pay. So I welcome NHI with both hands.

Unpaid medical bill for 2022/10/15
Wilgers hospital they are bullies, they are using their financial muscles and their resource to bulie their patients. Instead of taking on Discovery health they resorted to hand me over for collection to their legal team. It make me sick, discovery health send them e mail to provide them with answers so that discovery health can settle the medical bill, but no Wilgers decided not to answer discovery health. Now I handed over. Both of them they are playing budiness games on me it is sad. I paid 95% of the bill all is outstanding is R574 just few rand under R600. I cannot help it, but I think there is a suprises ahead for me as I have few financial products with discovery health. As for Wilgers hospital, I will not set my foot there, even if I have to accompany a friend or anyone I would rate take that person to other health facilities including government hospitals. I am disappointed with them big time as I had used their services before without any problems.

My review today is about hellepeter self. I am so grateful for the day I started using your services. I never wait for a feedback from hellopeter one thing for sure is I am guaranteed services. From October these year I wrote two reviews about very big businesses they both came back to me in a day. Something I would have not got it right without your help. You really make me feel worthwhile as a human being while those who receives money made me felt worthless. Your services worth millions of stars, not a few that I used up for these review. Non compliance to fill in the form.
On the 15 October 2022 I went to life Wilgers hospital for medical help. I had shoulder dislocation. The staff attended me soon as I arrived. Thank for that. The problems started when my medical aid did not pay the bills. I got strings of messages with legal threats should I fail to pay. I made inquiries with my medical aid they told me I did not sleep over that means I am out patient and the option in covered on will not pay. I put up a fight with them because I not just an ordinary member. I have given my medical aid ton of business. At the end they send me a form called application for outof hospital treatment of a prescribed minimum benefit condition 2022. To be completed by myself and the hospital. A pretty straightforward form. I completed it on the 19 October 2022 and send to one personnel who was querying riology payment of R4,143.81. The Wilgers hospital did not completed their part/section few days down the line i received messages with demands for payment or I will find myself with legal problems in my hand. I had to cancel some of my investments policy and savings to avoid legal actions against me. When I made payment. I wrote a review about my medical aid. They immediately contacted me. Guess Wilgers hospital did not completed their section and send to my medical aid. Again in few days I received another bill called hospital bill for R1,225.49 with legal threats. I paid half and made a follow-up with my medical. Same story Wilgers hospital did not completed their section. I humbled myself to find out why is the hospital not complying or at least co-orporate. Poor lady tried. Now I am told the case manager for hospital is on leave until next year. What is Wilgers hospital hiding that must not be seen by my medical aid? If they are failing to do what will take them less than 5 min. Is these how they tread their black customers? Are they going around threatening their vulnerable poor customers with legal options while they are failing to comply? Are they part and parcel of the big componies who are make it possible for unequal socity South Africa is in since they have financial muscles? Do they really play their part to shapes South Africa to be the better country we all want. Or they are part an parcel of keeping the poor poorest and rich richest. The evidence speaks for itself I will remain poor since my saving are butchered together with my investments policies while I continues contribute on monthly basis to my medical aid compony and I still need to pay to avoid legal actions by Wilgers hospital. You be the judge.

Unpaid medical bills
In October 2022 I wrote a review about unpaid medical bills for myself. My complain was send to discovery immediately. I received a call from their forensic team a day before I received some form to complete by myself and hospital to secure payment for my treatment. On the 15 November 2022 I received sms from Radiology 24 saying I owe them for two invoices amounting to R4,143.81.No communication from Discovery except the once survey asking me if I received help with regards to my complain. I completed the survey. I paid Radiology 24.the R4,143.81. Today I received sms with another outstanding bill from the hospital accounts. I owe them some money. Actually Dicovery health paid FOKOL, while for the month of October they received my full contributions and now in November they received a full contributions as well. To top it all I cannot cancel my medical aid with them provided I proof to someone in my company that I have another medical aid. Apparently is the law. Now these very company of mine contribute Fokol to subsidise me on my medical aid. Both Discovery and my employer are benefiting on my hard earned money, but not me. What the **** does this country come to? You employer **** you and your services providers they also **** you. These is ****** day lught robbery from those who supposed to take good care of me my employer claiming I am their valuable asset the ****** Discovery claiming I am their loyal customer. None of these two play their part for my wellbeing so that they can continue benefiting from me. Bleksem it is hurting when poor people they get played by the rich ones. Actually is just ****en crime to be a good citizen and you get ****ed up like these.

Unpaid medical bill.
I fell and dislocated my shoulder. Then went to private helthcare facility for treatment. They did not even wasted a second, immediately they took me to their trauma center attended me with immediate effect while my wife open a file at reception. Few minutes I will say less than an hour, they took me to do CT scan(x-ray) everyone gentle and humbled. I felt so been in good hands from the minute I walked in and when I left the same day. Now I received a message that my medical aid company does not want to pay for my treatment at the hospital I must pay from my pocket. I called them to make enquiries guess what, we will not pay because you were out patient, you did not sleep or admitted. I am talking been their member from the year 2000.never skipped payment/ monthly contributions. I really thought I am in good hands with discovery health. I thought peace of mind not a myth. Belive peace of mind is a scam abd a myth at the sametime. Today I am having serious doubts, if they fail to pay only R3,000 for shoulder dislocation treatment. Will they pay for my life cover worth so much millions to my beneficiary if I die. I mean the evidence and facts speaks for themselves. Accidents does not happen because we like them. And many of us take out medical aid cover incase it happens I get proper help. So now with discovery health cover. I should have went to goverment hospital where I could have diet waiting in long cue. If am attended I could walked with a permanent disabilities and still in pain.I am sorry public health care facilities we all know how difficult is for you to treat all your patients immediately more my nearby hospital, I lost my nephew there waiting for treatment and there is many who had lost their life. Now look at it these way, you practice good citizenship of these country, people like discovery health push you to be a corrup citizen. If I did knew that they will not pay as I am not admitted meaning sleep over, I should have asked the doctor to book me in over nights in the name of keeping him for observations while they know he will be fine after the hours of treatment. Discovery health they wanted me and the hospital to engage in corruptions activities. Again will they pay more that R3,000 as it was going to be more should the need be? You answer. I am really disappointed by a big medical aid company of discovery healrh caliber. My monthly contributions is R3,000, the claim is R2,900 and they cannot even pay a cent. Come on discovery health you can do much better than these. My calculations is 74k since I have the option, never claimed a cent, today when I need you the most, you turn your back on me, not only an ordinary member, a loyal member with 5 polices with you. These is so sad as I am in the same position with millions of South African who cannot afford mecical aid and even worse as I owe the hospital R3,000 while I am fully contributing for my medical aid on a monthly basis . Sad sad sad.
