I recently went to Meerendal to celebrate a big life achievement with my family. To our greatest disappointment the gaurd informed us that we can not park on the inside near the front of the restaurant, but only at the outside parking of the property. My mother pointed out that she is old and can not walk far, but we were still declined inside parking. For perspective, it was an extremely hot day (thirty-something degrees), mid week during a relaxed hour. A few weekends prior another gaurd let us in even when it was busy and full outside. When we came inside the parking was mostly empty. It deeply disappoints me that Meerendal does not hold their client and their client's wellbeing as top priority. I will not be returning and have advised my friend circles the same.
After my initial review, the air fryer stopped working. Matt promised to send a replacement I have not heard from him again since then.
The order reached me within 6 months, keep in mind that the company is new and has to do paperwork and import parts. I'm sure in time they will figure out better shipping methods, have patience! Regardless, Matt kept my friend updated regarding shipping throughout these 6 months. (The airfryer was sent to me by a dear friend as a 21st gift). The package was delivered by Fast and Furious. I have not tried the product yet, but I have plugged it in and it switches on nicely with options for "chicken, fish, nuts, chips". Lovely size and comes with a fry basket and steam rack. Very excited to use it!
I am using my freedom of speech to share my experience with this company... I ordered a product and it was promised to be delivered by the 8th Dec. The package never arrived and then was promised the 9th. Then we heard nothing. So after many calls, emails, DMs and comments we were promised the delivery will be the 17th because it was at the "incorrect branch". Nothing was delivered on the 17th, and then after more communication from our side they revealed that someone in the company actually stole the package. We asked that they send out a new package but they said it is out of stock. I went to check online and indeed it was (late afternoon). Later the same day at night (18th) I checked again and now the product is suddenly in stock. This company is a scam. There is no communication, internal control nor customer service. If one reads any of the comments on their posts on social media you will not have to search far in order to find other people with complaints. I have read of some people waiting for their packages for over a month. The customer service team gives one false hope, using textbook responses but not really doing anything. They never get back to you. I can go on and on; this is just the tip of the iceberg. Their service used to be outstanding. They will not see me again. Wish I could rate this 0.
