I have signed up for Lufthansa flying club, but the systems will not link my tickets to the club for points. The major challenge is that there is no way to get help from Lufthansa on this - the website directs you to different dead ends? I am not sure if this is purposeful
I have been flying on Virgin Atlantic consistently, and have tried to allocate the flights to my flying club number. It refuses to link the two. I have spoken to the call center a number of times and they say its corrected but isn't. It would seem that the flying club is just a marketing ploy
I have had issues with the Service from First National Bank for a while. They moved me onto a Private Wealth account, and every time I tried to contact my banker for assistance I was referred back to the app or they were uncontactable. I therefore asked to be reduced to the basic account. They reduced me to the basic account but kept my credit card on the Private Wealth account which meant that I had the same fees. I asked to be moved from this, and they keep making excuses why they cant do it. I have signed the same form 3 times and still there is no commitment to resolve this, and have got the same fees erroneously charged to me for the past 3 months! I have further asked for complaints procedures and they wont give them! I feel like I cannot get any movement in getting this sorted out.
Our internet keeps dropping. We had to hire an independent contractor (at our own cost) to come in and look into the issue as Cool Ideas only does a desktop investigation. When we gave the feedback, Cool Ideas still says its a router problem or something and wont send someone out. We have now been left logging tickets for months with no real attendance.
After cancelling my account over a year ago, Telkom passes my account over to Debt collectors to collect the invoices they have continued to raise since my cancellation. Luckily I had my cancellation in writing, and am hoping they can sort their systems out. When I queried why they were still providing service if my account was unpaid, they had no answer. When i asked them where they were sending the account to (and proof of these e-mails) they state they sent it to my fathers work account, of which he retired close to 10 years ago from. This is via the debt collectors by the way. When I try to contact Telkom, there are no numbers / e-mail addresses anything to contact... I think we should start to query the legitimacy of the income Telkom is posting
Good Day, I have been trying to get feedback on 4 seperate queries i have had with the City of Johannesburg for 6 months now. Although the call centre states that they have received the queries, they state they cannot help and i will have to wait for feedback from the council. I am left with bills that are incorrect and that look unpaid, but which is not the case. No one seems able or willing to help. Does anyone have a suggestion on what we can do to resolve this?
Good Day, I have been trying to cancel my Telkom Line. I have them confirm it in writing and via the call center, but they continue to bill me. Be careful, as this company is trying to inflate its income by invoicing erroneously. James
Good Day, I just wanted to thank Standard Bank for the great experience I had with their home loans team. Neither I nor my partner Bank with Standard Bank, but when our Bank turned our home loan down, Standard Bank came back with a quick, professional option that really made the process of raising a loan a lot less stressful for us. Unfortunately we received a much better rate from a different bank, but had the rates been closer it would have been likely that we would have moved all our banking to yourselves as we really did feel like we were dealing with a great business. I have been banking with FNB for close to 25 years now. I pride myself with being a really responsible lender, and take great pride in how i conduct my financial affairs. As an example, some 6 years ago I bought my first house and I paid off the bond in under 5 years. I have never believed in loaning money to buy cars, only have a credit card for work purposes (to which they reimburse me in full every month and I settle the account in full), have a savings account with significant balances in (for a rainy day), and really only use my debit card to make purchases. I don't believe in store credit or anything of the sorts. Excitingly we are looking to purchase our first 'family home' and turned to FNB as 'my banker' to provide a home loan. Within the day, FNB sent a cold letter stating "the account has been conducted in an unsatisfactory manner". Can you believe my shock. As I effectively have no debt (either with FNB or any other institution), the only conclusion we come to is that we are not the type of customer FNB wants. Seemingly FNB wants customers that take up all their products to maximize the bank charges, buys products on credit, takes working day loans and only pays off their mortgage over the full 20 years. The letter received gives no person to call or details around how we could take this matter up further with FNB. You would think that after 25 years the bank would be inclined to treat their customers with a level of respect. It would appear my loyalty to the bank is misplaced and I am left with no option but to move my banking accounts. I will also be selling my First Rand Group shares, as the investment case of an institution with such ethics is destined to fail.
Good Day, I would just like to detail experience i had with both Sportsmans Warehouse and their chosen delivery service Dawn Wing. I ordered a number of products online, and they stated it would be delivered in 3-4 days. It was actually delivered in two days, which was a nice surprise. The package however was delivered with 2 items short, which the Dawn wing delivery person picked up when he delivered. It was clear that the stated process was to send the whole package back and deliver the whole thing the next day. On asking me if that was ok i stated that one of the items was a present for the same day, to which he made a plan to leave this with me and he promptly delivered the remainder of the delivery the next day. Generally the attitude he approached with was really appreciated and I am strongly inclined to use this option again in the future. James
