Our review is so late, we do apologize for that. Our Lola was diagnosed as diabetic on the 27th of December 2022, she lost her sight instantly and she wasn’t spayed. Dr Webster did her cataract surgery on the 14th of February 2022. We’ve had nothing but thee BEST experience with the hospital and staff. YOU ALL ARE WONDERFUL. We thank you all for being so welcoming, friendly and for taking such good care of our beautiful Lola. We can’t thank you enough, what was once such a scary time, now coming in for appointments aren’t as daunting as it once was due to our anxiety with it all. My cat has hospital cover and when he was severely sick and was treated, I placed the claim but they refused to pay because the vet forgot to write in it that he had a drip on, I couldn’t exactly ask my vet to rewrite the invoice so basically I have the cover that will never pay no matter how much you pay them per month.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer and we have contacted Sanlam on how to make the dread disease claim. We were told to fill in a form and get her Doctor to write a medical report. From the time we started submitting the forms, there’s always something missing that they just don’t tell us about that we need to add before it’s submitted. I’ve written countless emails asking them to please state exactly what is expected but they beat around the bush (apparently them saying means they would have to pay for information on a claim being made). Sanlam disgusts me, my mom’s debit order goes out every month, Sanlam is ok to take her money but can’t and won’t be clear/properly process her claim. I get your company doesn’t want to part with money, but might I remind you, the money that people claim is rightfully theirs. Take into consideration the fights your clients go through health wise and then they have to also beg you guys to pay their claims. It’s extremely appalling that you guys would do this to your clients. As the forms get submitted, y’all ask for excess info that just trickles, seems to me you like to delay the process or just hope that clients get tired and give up on their claims. I won’t be surprised if clients die while waiting to be paid out their claims 😡 WAKE THE HELL UP SANLAM!
This is the worst company ever. My dad is trying to cancel his contract with them because he simply can’t afford it and they don’t give a ****. They dodge calls, they don’t call him back, they don’t answer emails, they just don’t care. They only care about stealing from innocent people. Your company is disgusting and a disgrace! I can’t believe you all are ok to steal money from people who need their money to pay their bills.
I actually cancelled my car insurance today, the guy I dealt with didn’t speak clearly, he kept mumbling important information which I kept saying please repeat because I couldn’t hear him, I do understand that the insurance would ask many questions about why I’m canceling but I would have really appreciated being told ok after I requested a cancellation, I don’t feel that I should have had to elaborate anymore on why I’m cancelling, other than my car is being sold. I also have been trying to contact discovery on multiple occasions regarding medical aid and they’ve haven’t been helpful at all, unlike years prior, I’ve had no issues with them until now.
I dealt with Thuli Shongwe earlier today, this lady helped me save over 200 bucks and got me the best deal for my car. Thank you lady, you were wonderful, you were so knowledgeable and also really easy to talk with. If I ever get the chance, I would refer you to everyone who asks! You really made my day.
