Old mutual is a bunch of ******, I am so livid and I curse the day I joined this company, I made a claim for two pot on the 23rd of Sep 20024 and their system said it will take 30 days . Today I called to find out how far are they with myapplication only to find out that my application has been closed because the surname they have doesn’t correspond with they one I made a claim using but they do have my id no. I was advised to start my application all over again and submit my marriage certificate which I did but unfortunately the email I was given is blocked. I will never ever again di business with this ****** and will surely help my parents to move their investments and lofe covers from Old Mutual cos clearly their money is also not safe. My id no is 7904280488087. I guess I have to wait for another 30.
I had a retirement annuity with Old Mutual which I cancelled, few years later I requested to continue with it. Instead Old Mutual created a new annuity that means I now had two, I initially thought that I would continue with the old one which was not the case, now I am trying to claim my two pot it is limiting me cos now I have two different amounts and the other one showa that the money is not enough as it dictates that I can withdraw a min of 2k which is making it difficult for me to accurately withdraw a reasonable amount now I am limited to only 3k which would have not be the case if my two focused accounts were combined. I feel that this is unfair what Old Mutual is doing and on top of that I still have to wait for 30 days for my money to be paid out while the system to claim was opened on the 1st of Sep with Old Mutual we were only able to claim from the 23 September. As much as I wanted to continue my business with Old Mutual that will be impossible, thinking of moving my retirement annuity to another brokerage who will value me as a customer.
My mom has Old Mutual Green Light life cover,with policy no 16608021 when she went on pension she opted for no-increase premium option. Six months ago Old Mutual increased her premium by400 she has been to couple of Old Mutual branches and they couldn’t help her only referred her to her useless Financial advisor Mr Komani who is nowhere to be found. Can Old Mutual please fix this mess and refund her all the extra 400 that she has been paying. This is not a way to treat your loyal client who has been with you for more than 35 years.
My parents who are both pensioners have aan insurance with momentum, on Monday the garage door fell and they called momentum who sent an assessorr, only for momentum to call today to inform them that their claim is being rejected, reason being that the *****s used are wrong, let’s get one thing straight momentum the garage door was fitted by a qualified person and it was also bought frim a reputable company not some back street shop. You have clearly showed that you only car about your profits margins. My husband and I also have insurance and investments with momentum, which we will be moving and will also spread the word to my close family and friends who do business with you to move tto a trustworthy service provider.
On the 06th of January my husband bought our kids two school bags at Checkers Hyper in Carnival mall, both of them cost 1.4k. Today we took my son’s school bag back to checkers as it because it was torn, only to be told by the shop’s branch manager by the manager that unfortunately they won’t be refunding us or exchanging it because it was against their policy as it shows that it has been abused. We then asked her how is that possible for a bag which is not even a month old to be abused, not forgetting that while we were waiting for her cos she had gone for a smoke one of the employees said that there is something wrong with those schools bags cos we are not the first customers to bring it back, Marlene the manager was not interested about the manufacture’s fault she was only concerned about who told us that. Then she made a call to one of the manager’s who is also a white male who told us about their policy which doesn’t allow them to refund or exchange the bag. My question to Checkers Hyper is that is this how you treat your customers and why in a whole shop only white people are holding senior positions. The service we received today has changed my view about checkers and my family and I will never buy anything from checkers.
Webafrica is a scam and a ****ty service provide including Evotel who recruits for it and even tell you to call them whenever you have a problem but when **** hits the fan Evotel gives you the number for Webafrica which doesn’t exist, while their partner in crime you can only chat with them via whatsup, and you are lucky to get through an agent.
I requested a settlement letter from Standard bank on the 29th of October and was told an a ****y story that they can only do it on the 02nd of December which never happened, then was told it will only be ready on Saturday, which also never happened, no wonder they are loosing their customers no one wants to deal with this kind of service, with the rate they are going closing branches clearly shows that standard is a ****y bank and will never ever recommend it to any of my friends and family.
I was admitted at sunward park hospital on the 10th Feb and got discharged on 14th Feb 2022. The claim was submitted to my medical aid which paid 18k n refused to pay the balance of 4K upon enquiry my husband found out that the reason the medical aid rejected the claim was because sunward park submitted an estimate of 22k so now we are left with a bill of 4K which we have to pay because of their incompetence. Will never recommend this hospital to any of my family members and friends
I have quite an unpleasant experience with this company situated a Woolworths in North mead, the level of treatment the poor employees receive in the hands of the supervisors and managers is unspeakable, the level of humiliation and disrespect the employees are subjected to in front of the customers, is the department of labour aware of the fact that South African employees are treated unfairly in their own country while foreigners whom I doubt have proper documents are the ones holding high positions. It’s disheartening to witness our people being subjected to poor working conditions while Tribeca is such a big company, is Woolworths aware of the unfair treatment of workers. Woolworths has lost one loyal customer.
I have a loan with standard bank, in May I applied for payment holiday which was approved, I was later retrenched from work and I applied for life insurance in October which was approved for 12 months, now I’m getting calls from standard telling me that my loan is in arrears when I ask how they don’t have an explanation as my insurance was for 12 months. Can someone at standard bank please fix this mess I have my own problems of being retrenched and I don’t need another stress caused by standard bank because of their incompetence. This is the second time I’m complaining about their incompetence hope this time something will be done, not send an email from an incompetent Natascha Tiflin who doesn’t make a follow up.
