Absolute useless and pathetic customer service blatantly dismissing my complaint about the list of health practitioners on their website being outdated. The sooner this scheme closes, the better.
The list of doctors and practitioners is outdated. For a medical aid this should be up to date if one wants to find a practitioner that is covered by your medical aid!
Their website and the information contained in it is poorly constructed, information is missing or outdated. As far as I can remember from school, sentences end with a full stop. Information is difficult to print due to a grey font and formatting that makes printing nearly impossible. If they cannot ven get this right, can you imagine how the rest is supposed to work correctly?
You don't have an email address for cancelling a pre-authorisation? What kind of company are you? That chat robot on your site is utterly useless, please get rid of it. One would really expect better service from you.
Clear, easy to understand communications seem to be difficult: Two pages were wasted to explain in a very complicated way that one of my mother's chronic medications will have a co-payment next year. And that after your exorbitant increases! Nor are you able to determine exactly what the co-payment is, instead giving a range from R1-R50. And, by the way, my mother is not exactly your pal which you can write to using her first name. How about using Mrs.
Bought a piar of POWER sneakers from Metro Home Centre Menlyn. The shoes were falling apart after two months. Metro Home Center Menly is totally useless for honoring any warranty, but that is a seperate complaint. I wrote a complaint via email to Bata South Africa and am still waiting for a reply. Customers would be well advised to take their business elsewhere and do the South African public a favour in having these businesses close.
I can only agree with other reviewers to take your business elsewhere. They sell absolutely poor products and then don't honor any warranty. The sooner this shop closes, the better for the public.
The most useless medical aid scheme with particularly poor service. They would be well off saving themselves the effort of having online or WhatsApp channels with that level of service. I am trying to get access to the web-based account of my mother, which has no internet. As she became the main member after my father's passing, this was working. Now, nothing works. I recommend everyone to change their medical aid as fast as possible. And fire the head of Discovery.
I previously was not happy with the service they rendered in 2015. I went there again to get a quote on brake repairs and a general service for my Honda Jazz. It seems the personnel there do not properly understand what needs to be done. Neither are they particularly friendly nor interested in their customers' needs. I would rather save myself another poor service for a lot of money and seek better alternatives.

Instead of being disappointed again for a lot of money, I prefer to use alternatives.
