I previously was not happy with the service they rendered in 2015. I went there again to get a quote on brake repairs and a general service for my Honda Jazz. It seems the personnel there do not properly understand what needs to be done. Neither are they particularly friendly nor interested in their customers' needs. I would rather save myself another poor service for a lot of money and seek better alternatives.

It was such a pleasure dealing with Matthew Stolz from Honda Menlyn. He was professional and provided assistanace every step ofthe way. What was really nice is the follow up call I just received to check in with us on the car and if we are happy with it.It wasn't the usual scripted reading of a page follow up call. It was relaxed and he really expressed his happiness that we are happy. I give client service training and Matthew ticks all the boxes. Accomodating, friendly and helpful. Thank you Honda and Matthew! Great client experience!

The Honda brv that i night in July 31 was bought at cmh Honda menlyn by a Nelspruit dealership. This car has something that finishes battery life within a day. I have been jumpstarted weekly by tracker because they notice from their side that there is a battery disconnect, they call me and ask if I’m safe and if I need assistance, they then send a service provider to help me.Last weekend I was stuck as a foreigner at Mocambique just i because I didn’t drive the car for a day the battery was dead.Thats when I my Insurence adviced me to return it to the dealership without battery recharging so that the dealership can see the problem because they’ve been restarting the car for me to drive it to the dealership which is almost 15 km away and by the time I arrived the battery was fully charged and they took it the work shop. Each time I was told there is nothing wrong with the car. Now I am two days without a car and I haven’t been contacted. They don’t care how I get around or that I bought because it’s a need not a want.

I PURCHASED A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM PEET VAN STADEN AT CMH HONDA MENLYN IN MARCH 2019. ON THE 14 MAY 2019 I NEEDED A TOWBAR INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE WHICH I DID. I WAS PRESENT AT THE FITMENT CENTRE DURING THE INSTALLATION. WHILST THE VEHICLE WAS ON THE LIFT, THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED THERE WERE 5 CLIPS MISSING FROM THE REAR BUMPER. THE TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATELY CALLED ME AND SHOWED IT TO ME. I THEN CALLED PEET VAN STADEN AND TOLD HIM ABOUT THE MISSING CLIPS. BEFORE I EVEN FINISHED MY CONVERSATION WITH HIM, HE TOLD ME THE CLIPS HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY THE FITMENT CENTRE, AND HE MADE UP HIS MIND THEN THAT HE HAD NO TIME TO LISTEN TO THE FAULT. I ASKED ME TO WATTSAPP MY ISSUE TO HIM ON HIS NUMBER 083-291-2002. AFTER SEEING HE READ THE MESSAGE AND ME HAVING NO RESPONSE FROM PEET VAN STADEN, I SENT HIM AND EMAIL ON THE 30 MAY 2019. I STILL HAD NO RESPONSE FROM PEET VAN STADEN. A FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM PEETS MANAGER WHO ASKED ME TO BRING THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WILL ORDER THE MISSING CLIPS. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN ON THE 1 JULY 2019 AND WENT TO SEE PEET VAN STADEN AND HE WAS ADAMINT THE CLIPS WERE REMOVED BY THE FITMENT CENTRE AND HE TOLD ME HE HAS NO TIME FOR MY COMPLAINT AND INSISTED I SPEAK TO THE NEW VEHICLE SALES MANAGER WHO ASSISTED ME. THE CLIPS WERE THEN FITTED BY MYSELF AND THE SERVICE MANAGER. I CERTAINLY WOULD USE THIS MEDIUM TO TELL FUTURE AND POTENTIAL CLIENTS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCES I HAD WITH PEET VAN STADEN. I WILL NOT BE DEALING WITH PEET VAN STADEN NOR HONDA MENLYN IN FUTURE AND WOULD RECOMMEND PEET VAN STADEN FOR HIS POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE AND RESPONSE.

I recently bought a Honda Jazz From Peet van Staden in March 2019. last Monday I noticed the rear bumper has 5 clips missing on the underneath.i called him immediately to inform him about the situation.. I sent him a picture on wattsapp and had no response. The vehicle has 1200 Km on the clock.I sent 2 enquiries on the Honda SA website and eventually I had a call from a Francois from Honda Menlyn. His attitude seemed appalling and not a good one if he has to deal with customer complaints. He told me his name and his first response was he does not know anything about that. He told me every alternative as to why the clips could be missing and told me he will call me back regarding that. He also told me they did not have extra clips. I will ensure Honda Menlyn gets enough exposure with my bad experience recently.

This is completely unacceptable!!!!! Think twice before purchasing a new and/ or second vehicle from this company. In our dying economic times in this country you need to ensure that your money is well spent. I can tell you that it is not with this brand. They are all about the sale and NOT about the CUSTOMER!! When selling the vehicle it is all sweet nothings!!!! As long as they can sell you the vehicle it stops at that with no care what happens afterwords. I purchased a brand new Handa Ballade from them in 2015. The Sales Manager at that time was so focussed on giving me the best deal ever in order for me to make the purchase, that they failed to follow through on their promises. I was told that if I purchase the new vehicle instead of a Demo model I will be free from any expenses on services for the next 3 years/60 000 km (full service) Surprise, surprise........ My vehicle went in for its 45 000 km service this morning and here I receive a phone call to inform me that my brakes needs to be replaced at a cost of just over R4000, as my vehicle only qualifies for basic service!!!!! 3 years later, I sit with the problem. What do think they are going say?! Who do you think is going to remember 1 customer from 3 years ago that they managed to swindle into a deal, just so they can get their sales kwota for the month. It is to easy to talk the sales talk and then rub you of onto the finance department to get the deal done. Sales person not even involved to ensure that all is done as per agreement. Its just sign here, sign there, congratulations on your new vehicle!!! This is not was agreed when making the purchase!!! I will not accept this!!!! I will not leave it at that!!!! R220 000 later for the purchase of my vehicle......I will get what I paid for and what was promised to me. I have never agreed in any of my previous vehicle purchases for a service plan of this nature nor will I ever. I have never been treated like this from any other dealer and I will not stand for this!!!

I took my Honda Jazz in two months ago to identify why it was not accelerating as fast as it had previously. The manager told me it was most likely the spark plugs and the coils and that he would replace both.

I received my car back 25 days later. The secretary could not print an invoice for me as she wasn't sure what the manager wanted to put on it although she knew the total amount he wanted to charge. This sounded quite suspicious so I decided to come back later when the invoice would be printed. She phoned me to let me know that everything was ready although when I got there it was the same story as before, she could not issue an invoice. I really needed the vehicle so I paid and she assured me she would send the invoice via email.

Two months later I still hadn't received the invoice and the car had been recalled for its airbags. This time around another secretary helped me and printed a receipt. They had charged me over R11000 and assured me that the spark plugs had been replaced. It turns out the spark plugs had never been replaced, they had kept my car for over 25 days, returned it dirty and tried to hide the lie by not issuing an invoice. I am now looking for a dealership I can trust.
