After being a loyal customer for 24 years I cancelled my contract. The billing issues, inconsistencies in charges and the degree of difficulty that is required to simply communicate with vodacom has made me seek an alternative. Today I requested a credit of R564 on my account to be paid over to me and I was told that my account is now at pre-legal. In 24 years Vodacom has never had to phone me for a single payment. In most months my account has been in credit...The person assisting me said that she will phone me back but never did...Time of call 12:17 spoke to Sinzeni. I cannot email as the customercare@vodacom.co.za I dont get any reply to...I cant use Tobi as my number is no longer registered to Vodacom. I cant use the whatsapp option for the same reason. So instead of phoning and wasting my own money I am left to complain here.
Having issues with my billing and charges that are on there that should not be charged for.I am on a package that gives me free minutes and then cuts off when I have reached my limit. This month I received a bill for phone calls that should have not been able to even go through.
I recently upgraded my daughter's account. The salesperson Thabiso was unsure as to the offer that were available,could not access all of the offers and gave contradicting advice. Words like,Im not sure, maybe and I dont know was the theme of the conversation. Eventually I could find a deal that was suitable for me to get 2 phones. Upon enquiring why the phones have not been delivered yet I was now told that the phones are on backorder and will take another week to be delivered. Why was I not informed that the phones will take this long to be delivered. I could have gone to a store to get a different deal but to lock me in this information was not disclosed. Now my daughter leaves on her school trip without the phone I promised her. THis seems a bit unethical. I would please like vodacom to deliver the phones to me by tomorrow 12 Oct 2022. Failing which... you can go ahead and cancel my contract at YOUR cost.
Purchased a doll for my daughter's birthday. The item received packaging looks so badly damaged that I had it returned. The replacement came and it looks equally bad. When at the store people buy the best looking items. At Takealot you automatically get the worst... Every time.
Advertising as buy a 9 piece and get 1 piece free. We opted then to buy more pieces because of this special. We confirmed with the person handing us our order if we got the extra piece and she said yes.
I phoned your repair shop in menlyn on 25/4 as my lenovo ideapad cannot pick up a boot device. I told the consultant Celtis, Celtin? Cant recall the name what the problem is and that its a lenovo. He said they arent doing repairs but I should bring it in and maybe they will replace if they cant repair... When I got there they said they dont deal with lenovo devices and that I should phone them. I drove from pta north, paid toll fees, parking fees fuel etc... They could have given me this info and saved me costs. The person at menlyn consultant 15 couldnt tell me how long lenovo warranties are, if I would be paying for the courier cost. Not aure what they know but they obviously know nothing about client service as I had to take a long expensive drive just to hear I cant help you and I dont know. Pathetic service... Just like phoning the call centre.
I recently purchased a VW Kombi and it was due for its last service under the service plan at McCarthy VW Wonderboom. After driving and receiving "service" from another car manufacturer I didnt know what to expect as it was my first time dealing with VW in roughly 15 years. Driving in on the morning of the service I was greeted by the security guard that immadiately knew who I was and greeted me by name.(Wow) I also experienced great service from Paulina in booking the service and she replied within a few minutes of me sending the email. Tony was extremely helpful and professional in keeping me updated and making arragements for me to be picked up (this was not the original arrangement as my plans had unexpectedly changed). Abraham the driver in coming to pick me up again was also very friendly and professional. Thank you so much for the great client service experience to the entire team. Every single person I dealt with made me smile and impressed me with their service. I dont write compliments easily as I'm very critical of client service (as I give training on client service for a living) Very well done to Tony and everyone else at McCarthy VW Wonderboom.
Debiting my account without taking their service on a new car. And even though the service was cancelled after I laid a complaint...they still debit my account every month which costs me money to return.

Over the past 4 months I have purchased 3 pairs of clothing fromMr Price. 2 out of the 3 have torn on the seam. It is just not worth buying there anymore as the quality of clothing is just bad. Where are the good old days where they had good quality clothing for good prices. Nowadays it's you get what you pay for. Moderately cheap yes (but not really)prices for cheap quality clothing. Rather spend more somewhere else and get clothing that last...
