Very poor service. I pay my account every month on the 27th. In June of this year (2024) Their staff decided that I have to pay before every medicine gets delivered even though I pay at the end of every month. They withheld all our medication from the week before the end of May. By the time the end of June rolled around our account was standing at R3000 and they are still withholding our medication. I offered them R2000 a month to get it up to date and they refused. They insist on the full R3000 before they process our medication. I am a type 2 diabetic and my husband has severe bipolar mood disorder. Clicks have an "I don't care attitude"
In April I paid and received burglar guards and gates for all my entry points. Almost 2 weeks later they came and did the installation. On the 24th of April 2024 while they were installing one of their guys broke a window. I took a photo and sent it to them. Since then I have been struggling to get them to replace the window. I sent numerous messages to Kevin Abraham, the General Manager, and struggled to contact him. One of his guys gave me a cell number on WhatsApp, I sent him the photo and on the 9th of May 2024 he said he would send someone to take measurements. No one came. On the 15th of May 2024 I still hadn't seen anyone. I sent him another message and received the following, "Sayes will come over to take the correct measurements tomorrow and I will order the glass and fit it as soon as it's ready". "Will confirm once he measures". On the 30th of May 2024 I sent him another message, to which I received, "Mam....we will sort it by Tuesday. It's gone for cutting". To date I have still not heard from anyone from Shalom Steel and Glass. Their contact number is 031 403 0841. All I want is the window fixed that they broke.
They never get the medications to me on time. I generally spend at least a week or more without the medication before I receive it. As an example, my husband's medication has been finished for almost a week. The doctor wouldn't have prescribed it if it wasn't urgently needed.
On 15 December 2020 I paid my licence through their portal, then I bought a television from Makro who took the same amount because my licence was in arrears. I have since been struggling to get my refund. They see the double payment but still insist on proof of payment and today I was told I not only need proof of payment but also a bank statement. After they receive this last email I have to wait 3 weeks for my refund. This is totally unprofessional and frustrating in a time where every cent makes a difference.
