Still the worst service you can get. On a income protector claim - My medical specialists confirmed that I'm not fit for duty till the end of March 2026. Liberty decided only to approve till the end of Dec 2025. (No explanation why) I've submitted new updated documents to confirm that I'm not fit for duty at the end of Dec. They're should only assess & extend a active claim. I've submitted documents from medical professionals. Liberty mentioned a turnaround time of 10 - 15 working days to assess. On the 16th working day I did receive a letter confirming they are now accessing my extention of my claim. However on the 21st working day ( more than a calender month now) I've received a letter stating they will start working on my claim soon. It seems like they just send random letters trying to keep clients quiet while delaying everything as far as possible, apart from trying their best to find a reason to decline a claim!
Great & fast service. Charmaine & Jacki very friendly & helpful. Delivered goods as agreed & before promised deadline.
I've complained about liberty life on 17 & 24 December 2024, refusing to pay a legit claim. After complaint at the ombudsman they tried a lot stories but before the ombudsman could rule they e changed their minds and paid me by the end of June. Don't let the big companies bully you into submission!!! They'll try to throw the book at you even if such a book don't exist!
They blocked my account trying to force me to open a business account which I don't want or need. No feed back on requesting the closure of my account. All my KYC documents are up to date with them
Big ****mers. Not responding to emails, wharapp. If they do answer the lady says it's on order while stock showed "in stock" Stay away they'll only ***** your money
If I could give minus 5 stars it wouldn't be enough. I've got previous complaints from 17 December & 26 November 2024 regarding this. I had a total knee replacement. The Dr deemed me not fit for work, for at least six months (nature of my work) Liberty Life decided they want more reports (requested it) from a physiothe******. I did supply a report as requested. This morning they claim a physote****** report is not essential to their valuation... Why ask then? They'll pay me only to date the dr's report were completed (7 Nov) not to the date the dr. declared me unfit to work, ignoring his reports as well as the physiothe****** reports they have asked for. This took them a total of 30 working days and not 10 as promised.. I would advise to seriously consider other companies before insuring anything at Liberty Life
I've complained about Liberty Life on 22 Novemeber 2024 (income protector claim). They did respond by sending be the same letter they sent a week before. Threrafter requesting information already covered in a previous report. On submitting this information they responded with a confirmation letter that it will be resolved within 10 working days, same like on my claim submission, but took them 15 working days to only request more info. That second 10 days has alreay been surpassed - still no feed back. I cant & wouldn't recommend anybody to insure with them.
I would and can never recommend liberty Life. They promote settlling a legit claim within 10 working days while it actually seem they only have a look at a claim beyond this period, Asking for information only to prolong claims process. They are currently on 28 working days with no answers other than, "waiting for a second oppion" and assessors only have meetings twice in two weeks. Client care not the first priority.
