If I could rate this organisation lower I would. Their Alphera product very disappointing. The dealership sent quotes and requested documents. Three times, it took more than 3 days to get a response after we had to call and email many times from our side as well to enquire what was taking so long. After all that, they cover part of the damage but refuse to cover the pipes damaged by the covered part. After three whole days of waiting to hear from them, mind you they didn’t even want to tow the vehicle yet it’s listed as a covered item.
Man I wish I could give you 10 stars. So professional and so customer oriented. I have tyre and rim insurance with them and would highly recommend them. I wish I had my vehicle extended warranty with them too because Alphera is giving me the opposite treatment.
There should be a zero button for this company, we have an extended warranty with them and the car has been standing for two days even though the Volvo dealership sent the the information they wanted twice already. What is the point of the warranty if it’s going to be such an inconvenience. The reference for the claim is 871768. When you got the money for the warranty it was quick but now all this delay.
I'd give a zero star if I could. Where do I start with Standard bank vehicle finance department. I had requested a payment holiday which I was granted, communicated that I may need an extension or could we reduce my monthly installments. Apply and no debit goes off after the end of the initial payment. I then call to find out what's up with the application, I get told I wasn't processed so now the wait continues but still no deduction. I then only get confirmation that it can't get processed because I'm in arrears but I've never missed a payment. Then when I call to find out, I get told no the debit order wasn't reinstated and there was no communication from Standard bank telling me I'm in arrears. All for me to find out when I call Standard that my account was handed over. This whole period I received no communication, I was no cc'd on anything. Now I must pay a ridiculous amount of money which was the whole point of me applying for relief initially cause with Covid my industry was closed. Yet the bank accepts no fault whatsoever.
