The Green Point Giovanni's in Cape Town delivers great service. Very friendly staff too. Delicious sandwiches and pastas. Value for money. The dark chocolate cake is excellent and I crave it on a daily basis. Lots of international snacks, sweets and drinks to choose from.
Krispy Kreme V&A Waterfront always has excellent service and delicious doughnuts that are just consistently delectable. Always look forward to visiting them whenever I am in Cape Town. Awesome, friendly staff always.
I made an online purchase and an EFT payment to the supplier who turned out to be a scammer. I called Capitec to reverse the payment and was told that I must speak to the fraud department of FNB seeing that the receiver's account was an FNB account. I logged a complaint with the FNB fraud department and my case was closed because I am a Capitec client.(NO ONE BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME) Today, I logged a fraud case with the forensics department of Capitec and an agent, Nomfanelo Mabuela, supposedly did an investigation and contacted FNB within an hour and told me the funds have been utilized on the side of the FNB account holder and I will have to take this up with SAPS. I am completely disgusted with the way this was handled. I was not given the right information from the very beginning and now my money is just gone. This is horrible! Clearly Capitec is not interested in helping a loyal customer retrieve their funds. No one knows what they are doing and no one cares to do a complete and diligent job. Thanks for nothing!!
I reported a case on the 16th of December 2020 where an eft payment was made from a Capitec account to an FNB account, this payment was for goods and the goods were never delivered. I was assigned the analyst, Beverly Nukeri and sent her all documents required by FNB. To this day, she has not responded to my email nor has she contacted me. When I followed up today, 4 February 2021, I was told that my case has been closed. I have no explanation as to why my case has been closed and my money has not been refunded. Beverly’s phone is permanently on voicemail and emails go unanswered. This is disgusting service. Clearly, FNB is on the side of the fraudsters and supports fraud. I was contemplating opening an account with FNB but due to this horrible service, I’ll just stay with Capitec.
