What a shabby experience. whoever mans the whatsapp number should be assessed - absolutely rude, disinterested and unhelpful. Its either they think that students don't deserve good service, or that you need them so badly you will stomach anything, or the person is so desperately unhappy with their job. Either way they need to get better at dealing with people and come to the realisation that all businesses need people . Without people buying there is no business. i will not be returning.
This business is obviously struggling. I have had too many frustrating experiences. Their whatsapp customer service number does not work as no one responds timeously to queries or complaints. My order was not delivered - I was told to call the driver and when I did he was flustered saying he left my order because they are giving him too many orders and he has no space on his bike. No one bothered to reschedule another driver, instead when I was disconnected no one bothered to call back to resolve my issue. The APP says that my order has been cancelled because they were not able to get hold of me which is blatantly untrue. The App also says I have been refunded, which is also not the case, meaning I have to call again to figure out what is happening. When I call I’m told that’s not the case, there is another driver assigned to my order. They were meant to deliver at 11:00 and it is nearly two and no one has bothered to communicate what is happening. This is poor form onecart - I was so pleased with this business offering. But perhaps you have bitten off more than you can chew.
I bought a swing chair from takealot which I needed for an event so I selected next day delivery. I saw that there were a number of vendors that were selling the same chair but I went for the one with the highest rating which was also one of the more expensive ones. The other had low ratings and complaints that the chair did not come with the accessories needed to mount the chair. The one I purchased specified that it included accessories but when it arrived it didn't have them, making the chair ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! Customer service did not assist me in trying to find a solution for my deadline, telling me that I needed to send it back for inspection instead of just sending me the missing parts as I still had an extra day before I needed it. instead I was told that perhaps they didn't have the part which I thought was WORSE because it means they were willing to charge me full price but knowingly send me something incomplete and just keep quiet about it. Unacceptable - I did not expect this from takealot. I still have no resolution and no response to my mail!!!! Disappointing and infuriating.
