I wish I could give 0 stars. Looking for flights from SA to UK I found a good deal on MyTrip. via British Airways. Advert stated that the price included 1 x 23kg checked baggage as well as cabin baggage. I booked two tickets. When I paid and checked the confirmation I noticed "no baggage". For two weeks I argued and sent screen-shots of their advert. To no avail. They say they showed me full details on screen before I paid and it did not include baggage! I had to pay an extra R3600 for each bag direct to British Airways. I should have checked their reviews on Hello Peter before booking. Do not trust anything they advertise, it's all click bait. I will never use them again.
Technician took away oven tray from under counter oven 5 days ago (Friday) to "get advice from supervisor" as tray falls down when anything is placed on it. On Monday I was told that they are awaiting management decision and call would be escalated. Same story today, Wednesday. When I asked for a number to call to speak to a manager, I was given four numbers, all of which had automatic options, none of which worked and the message was just repeated. I tried nine times on various numbers and could not get a response.
My solar geyser stopped heating over the weekend. I contacted Gavin at the Gauteng office at 8 am Monday for assistance. He identified the problem and talked m through tracing the fault to a corroded connection between the solar panel sensor and the geyserwise control unit. Cut off the connectors, soldered wires together and by 11,30 am my problem was solved, at no cost! Brilliant service. Thanks from Stan.
