I wish I could give 0 stars. Looking for flights from SA to UK I found a good deal on MyTrip. via British Airways. Advert stated that the price included 1 x 23kg checked baggage as well as cabin baggage. I booked two tickets. When I paid and checked the confirmation I noticed "no baggage". For two weeks I argued and sent screen-shots of their advert. To no avail. They say they showed me full details on screen before I paid and it did not include baggage! I had to pay an extra R3600 for each bag direct to British Airways. I should have checked their reviews on Hello Peter before booking. Do not trust anything they advertise, it's all click bait. I will never use them again.

MyTrip was able to rebook my ticket without any additional charge, and I was happy with the final outcome. However, I had to speak with three different agents before reaching the right one who could actually help me. It shouldn’t have to be this difficult. Imagine if I had just paid right away without questioning it — I would’ve lost money for something that wasn’t right.

I paid R2,800 for a “flexible ticket”, expecting that changes would be free if my plans shifted. Unfortunately, when I needed to rebook, I was still asked to pay extra. Kaak company!

MyTrip, GoToGate, and Flightnetwork (part of the eTraveli Group) engage in deceptive practices with virtually no customer support. I was denied boarding at Gatwick with three kids because, despite being charged for five tickets, MyTrip failed to add the children to the passenger list. The airline couldn’t help since the booking was through the agency, and MyTrip kept deflecting responsibility. After 12 hours at the airport, 37 calls, and emails (even to CEO Mathias Hedlund), I got no resolution. I lost over £5,700 and received no case number, direct contact, or consistent help. Every call started from scratch. Their Skyscanner reviews are likely ****, and their customer support—based in India—offers empty promises and no real assistance. Avoid all eTraveli Group companies at all costs.

I bought a Jhb - Cape Town flight through MyTrip, and paid the extra fee for a flexible ticket. When I wanted to change the ticket I was informed that Mytrip charges a R820 !!! service fee, and with the R400 airline fee (they claim.....), the charges are more that the ticket was . Needless to say, I wil never be using them again

They charged me twice for one ticket. I asked them to cancel the one cause it was their system that did it they told me it's non refundable. Seriously how many people do they catch like this?

I made a booking through Mytrip.com, now I want to change my flight, no email address, no contact number, no chatbox no way to contact them. When I login it sends me a verification link, I click on it takes me back to the login, been on this back and forth for the past 2 hours.. Please if you want a smooth travelling do not even consider these. I am now stuck with a useless ticket cause I now can not amend it since they are nowhere to be found.

I made a booking through Mytrip.com, now I want to change my flight, no email address, no contact number, no chatbox no way to contact them. They took my R25k for tickets booking and when I get to the airport they can’t find me in the system please don’t fall for this ****mers and please let use this as a lesson not to pay money without checking for review on any site I can’t forgive this people but please don’t fall for them
