The most pathetic online experience I have ever encountered. Why are people still buying from these muppets? A WhatsApp line that never gets answered. And when it does, ****y and rude personnel that reply with one word answers. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!
Stay far away!! This business is selling **** products and markets them as Original. I bought what was supposed to be an Original Sony BC - QZ1 battery charger. However it’s a **** product. It’s branded as an original with the official SONY logo, SONY fonts, trademarks etc. However the product label on the rear of the product is vastly different from the Original. Buying a **** product like this to charge your R3500 SONY battery will damage it and void your warranty! It’s shocking that this Business markets themselves as a Professional photographic store and they are selling **** Sony products! Do not get caught.
The most pathetic online sales platform I have ever encountered!!!! 4 weeks down the line since my product has been returned and received by makro, a product that was not even opened and I am still waiting for my refund!! 10 different consultants dealing with the same reference number and no one knows what the hell is going on. Makro has no supervisors or managers, first time I ever see something like this. The entire company is run with telephone consultants. Give up your online platform because you are useless at it and stick to retail stores. Facebook posts, emails, calls - continuously for the last 4 weeks, still no refund. No manager, no supervisor - instead you get apologies and escalations as automated responses. That’s all the feedback I get - “sorry for the inconvenience, we will escalate” .. for over a month. How many times are they going to apologize and escalate. We are already on 11 times this has been said to me. Makro - you are clueless at running an effective online sales platform, save face and close it. You are NO WHERE compared to the likes of Takealot. If I return an item, my money is refunded within the same week. Now get an actual manager or supervisor to pick up the phone and actually call me. Do they know how to do that? It seems to me no one knows how to use a phone, only useless scripted responses via email. Ref - MAK3509535 Hopefully more and more come to Hello Peter to read these reviews. Makro can not even get to 3/10 on almost 12000 reviews. That says something. If you are reading this and intend of buying from makro, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. There are plenty options. Let’s see how long it takes makro to send me another automated, scripted reply to this review.
SHOCKING SERVICE! I enquirer about 2 x pedestian gates for my property in the middle of November 2021. A gent by the name of Lourens came out to the house to do measurements. Quote was given to me which I accepted. This was on the 19th November. 22nd November Lourens confirmed that he will book the job for manufacturing and give me an installation date. Almost 3 weeks pass, I hear nothing from him. I send a mail to follow up. I get a reply from Lourens 3 days later informing me that installation will not happen until the new year and that I should inform him when we are back from leave in January. I informed him that we are not going away and that we are ready for installation asap. This was the the 17th December. That is the last time I have ever heard from Mr Lourens!! I have sent multiple mails, I have called him and WhatsApp’d this man but get absolutely no reply! Eventually I called the business and asked for the owner (Geoff) so I could relay my experience in the hope of getting this sorted. This was on Friday 21st Jan 2022. Geoff was not in. Spoke to Shannon and let my details with a brief description of what has transpired. Shannon informed me that Geoff would definitely give me a call back on Friday 21st Jan, or latest Saturday 22nd. The date today is the 25th January and I have still not received a call from Geoff (owner) or Lourens or anyone for that matter… I have now taken my business to the opposition which have already sent a quote and started manufacturing the gates, all within 2 days. Business must be booming for Absolut Fencing if this is how experiences such as mine get handled. THINK TWICE ABOUT USING ABSOLUT FENCING.
