Spur in Port Alfred's service - staff, food, management - is continuously excellent and never disappoints. Kudus to Kobus and his staff - I can recommend this restaurant to anyone anywhere. Proud to have you in our community. The staff's training is beyond expectation, the portions and preparation are the benchmark for excellence.
Having been overcharged by R1000, I was promised it would take 1 week to refund me. It has now been more than a month. Its impossible to find them on phone and I have sent 8 emails, no answer. This is my 2nd review hoping Hello Peter can assist me.
Due to no fault of my own I have been charged R1000 more than the ticket I eventually managed to their staff in JHB to send on. Since then I had been unsuccessfully tried to claim the R1000 after filling in all their forms and sending proof of all documents in December. I was told that payment would be made in one week, but while they were quick to receive payment, it has now been 3 weeks and I cannot get hold of them. I have proof of all the emails I sent without receiving even an acknowledgement as I requested. It has been bought out by FlixBus, not Citiliner. The only CEO I could find online is residing in Germany.
Lets Go Tours are simply excellent. Sent a quote immediately and answered every WA almost at once. I'm very impressed with this transport shuttle company in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape
What a place, food and staff!!! The smiles and absolute beautiful setting and food made with love and presented so magnificently, makes it my favourite go to eatery in Port Alfred. In Duckpond Centre, CBD.
I do not even want to give them 1 star but had to do it to access this review area. My constant, not just now and then, experience with MTN, has been painful and a terrible experience. The latest is that while we have proof of our monthly payments, they have given us over to VeriCred. Because of their incapability to process payment, my credit rating is affected. I can truly say I hate doing business with them and cannot wait for my contract to end next month. I am going to be at their franchise in Port Alfred when doors open. Also, they give you night data. during which time the download speed is slowed down so you are forced to use your much more expensive day time data. I use my married name here in which my contract. has been taken out. Let there be no confusion that they may think they do not have Alexandra Rose-Innes as client under which name I post on Hello Peter. Alexandra de Beer (Rose-Innes)
This business has grown by word of mouth because of the standard of service rendered to clients in need of a website. It is but a 2-man business but the staff is available 24/7 and always extremely helpful and prepared to go the extra ten miles. Nothing is too much trouble and in many instances people with very little money were assisted to ensure they can have a sustainable income. This business is more than a business and clients have become friends.
Stephanie and David from Bookends 2nd hand book shop in Port Alfred are truly amazing. I have been a total book nut and bibliophile for 60 years and I have never encountered the vast array of title available at a fraction of a price, than at this shop in the CBD of the town. They know their customer's tastes and even keep book for you that you would like. It is my absolutely favourite place in the Eastern Cape and I only travel into town if I have an excuse to pop in at Bookends.
Never in my entire 65 years had I encountered such incompetence as at Port Alfred MTN franchise in Rosehill Mall. The space here is simply not enough to highlight the absolute mind numbing, frustrating and painful encounters! We are now paying to get out of the MTN contract. It has been a nightmare from day one and we simply cannot endure another year of this. Whatever you do, spare yourself the pain and rather get a ***eon to take your messages somewhere - DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO IT WITH MTN AND ESPECIALLY NOT AT THE PORT ALFRED FRANCHISE.
The staff at PnP in Port Alfred are simply a breed apart. However, I need to highlight two of them as absolutely wonderful. One is Jarred, the other one's name I do not know, but he packs the long life milk boxes section and walks with a little limp and has the most amazing dreadlocks. While everyone, from MJ to Bongani at meats, are always helpful and friendly and all staff members have such kind demeanours, I really want to shout a big thank you to JARRED AND THE OTHER GUY (I do apologise for not remembering his name - I am 65 and inclined to forget). Thank you PnP management and staff, you DO go the extra mile, especially in South Africa, where service ranks at the bottom.
