Tired of being **********!
I feel compelled to write review because I don’t like being **********. I called the Drain Surgron for a quote to fix a leaky tap and replace washer. Not a big job. They said their call-out fee was R1500! And that only included 1 hour of labour. Job would probably have taken half an hour at most. I feel they are just taking advantage. Called someone else and they fixed the tap in 15 mins for R550 total

Nothing French about Old Ducky Restaurant, bad food
Ordered on uber eats from this so called French restaurant and was extremely disappointed. Had the beef stroganoff which sounded delicious on the menu but arrived as a tasteless grey mush with sinewy meat, had one bit and threw it away which I hate doing. Will never order from here again. Huge disappointment

Half dead flowers from Melrose Arch Flower Market
My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers for a very special occasion and he went to Melrose Arch Flower Market. He paid R1100 for a huge arrangement in a very large vase. When I received the arrangement I noticed immediately that most of the flowers were on their last legs. Everything was crammed into the vase which had dirty cellophane at the bottom and no plant food. It arrived at lunchtime on Monday and by Tuesday morning mostly everything was dead. We were both extremely disappointed and felt very ripped off. We took the flowers back and they gave us a new arrangement which was definitely better and fresher but still a bit of old greenery had been added. If their flowers are not fresh they really should advise the customer and allow them to decide. We will not buy from them again and although they did rectify the situation the whole experience was unpleasant. We will not recommend them either. Given the times we are living in service should be of the highest standard and customers should not be ripped off, it leaves a very bad taste.
