I paid in full 14 days ago - no response and no feedback, its a joke. I ordered from them a year ago, and it went smoothly and now its a nightmare, like they're ****ming me
WE HAVE BEEN ****MED, and you’re doing nothing about it. I must express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent experience my partner and I had using the Uber Eats app. As regular customers who have always been impressed by the efficiency and reliability of your service, we are deeply disgraced by the events that unfolded during our most recent transactions. To provide you with a detailed account, we placed an order online, and the payment was promptly deducted from my partner's account. However, to our disbelief, within a mere 30 seconds, if not less, the order was inexplicably canceled. Understandably concerned, we attempted to check the receipt to confirm the reimbur*****t, but it was unavailable at the time. Assuming that the cancellation would result in an automatic refund, we decided to place a new order with a different restaurant. We got our second order. However, shockingly… when the receipt finally became accessible (we checked that night - nothing - so it took a while to show us the receipt.), it claimed that we were charged because the restaurant had allegedly prepared our meal. This assertion is factually inaccurate since the cancellation occurred within seconds, rendering it impossible for the restaurant to have initiated any preparation. Compounding our frustration, our attempts to seek assistance through the Uber Help feature proved fruitless. The messages repeatedly apologize, claiming that 48 hours must elapse before a response (we had tried, and firstly should have never been charged for an order cancelled by the restaurant within seconds). This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable, especially when urgent matters are at hand. Moreover, attempting to contact the restaurant listed on the canceled order proved futile, as we could see the establishment address on the uber order and they are not affiliated with Uber Eats. It appears that they, too, are falling victim to a ****, further highlighting the severity of the issue. As someone is posing as them potentially?? Even if they are just using their address - we got ****med and Uber has done nothing about it.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! They do not deliver packages - I have been trying to call every day and get hung up on or call declined every time. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE, and if you order through any company that uses them tell them you won't do business with them (cause you won't get your package!)
