A week ago I shared a bad experience and unfair treatment that I received from Vodacom regarding unproper fiber cable instalation. I then received a call from Vodacom promising to resolve the issue that has taken more than a year. Vodacom appointed some unprofessional company to do the reinstalation of cables, this company didn't render the services, I've been in contact with Vodacom as well throughout the week nothing has happened. Clearly some customers are more important than others 🙄. This experience is unacceptable, I for waisted 2 days waiting for the service provider, all I received is their empty premises. This isn't the 1st incident, last year my fiber was down more than a week begging Vodacom to attend to the problem, when I claimed for down time discount Vodacom didn't bother to honour the agreement we had telephonically. What is so annoying is the fact that one of my neighbors different to my race had the same problem, he made 1 phone call and he was sorted, if it take this long to attend to this issue 1 might think otherwise 🤔.
I've been in contact with Vodacom trying to resolve the issue of improper installation of Fiber cables since last year to date. This is an inconvenience, I had to put a driveway project on hold due to this problem. What is frustrating is that Vodacom isn't trustworthy, they have been issuing useless Ref Numbers every time I'm in contact with them. I've sent several emails nothing has been done, yet I'm paying for their unprofessional services.
On their broucher it says 2 fuel calouts are covered (within a period of 12 months), you only pay when you've excided 2 claims. I logged a call requesting AA to send me fuel and I was told that I have to have cash to pay their service provider after refueling my vehicle. ( That was my 1st claim of fuel ) I'll refer the Mechanical claim to the Ombard since they refused to repair my vehicle they do not advise customers to have their vehicles inspected before taking the cover. My point is what if you take the warranty not knowing that a certain rubber cover is torn then few months down the line the part is damaged due to a torn cover? Covers may be torned / cracked between service intervals or few months after servicing your vehicle. I joined AA few months after servicing my car & I am sure that it was inspected during service.
Firstly tracker called me last yr trying to sell their product call tracker guide, I told the guy who called me to call after 5pm cos I had to discuss it with my wife, that was the last time we spoke, to my surprise on the 19th of October pro -rata was deducted from my account. When I tried to talk to them they insisted that I agreed to buy the product, I requested the recording of the call, nothing to date. Recently they said I'm owing them +/-R850 for their SMS notification services, I also tried to dispute and I failed, the said should my vehicle get stollen they won't assist me, I had to make an arrangement & pay that amount which was agreed that it'll be splitter into 3 instalmens. 1st instalmens was deposited on the 9th of March this year, on the 17th of March I received an email saying amount due is R694.12 , on the 25th of March I deposited R199 for monthly subscription, on the 31 of March I received an SMS thanking me for paying my Acc. Today the 8th of April I received a shocking SMS saying I'm owing R1833.6 . Someone please assist this is unacceptable and disgusting. These people haven't reimbursed me the amount they unlawfully deducted for the product I didn't agree to. Lastly their App is 20% accurate, I reported that as well they said if it's technical fault I'll be liable for the amount +/-R600 that was few days after their unit was inspected & I was told that it's fault free.
