Decided to use Cartrack as an alternative to my other Car Tracking Service for a business vehicle in 2018. At the end of 2019 we sold said vehicle but continued to pay the monthly instalments due to a 3 year contract which we signed and was only due to end in February 2021. On February the 6th of his year I was contacted by CarTrack in order to settle an outstanding amount of R660 in order to finalise the three year contract. Said telephonic conversation was, according to the representative recorded for quality and training purposes. After confirming this as being the final instalment a payment was made immediately after the completion of the call. On the 8th of March I received another call enquiring as to why I had not made payment on the 1st. A full explanation was given upon which the said representative confirmed that he would reflect back on the telephonic conversation on the 6th of February to confirm. Subsequently an entry was made that the contract had been cancelled but not for the 6th of February but for the 8th of March. This is where the nightmare started. Every single day, and I mean every single day, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays until today, now the 16th of September these people call me two or three times a day looking for the outstanding instalment of R315. I have explained myself not once, not twice, a hundred times, to no avail. I have been threatened with legal action, I have been blacklisted and have had my account handed over to lawyers who are now sending me text messages offering 20% discount. The calls have become somewhat abusive, threatening and intimidating. I have never experienced this kind of harassment from any company in comparison to this. Its ridiculous and downright disgusting. Its so bad that the cals which all come from the same number are being made before 8 o'clock in the morning and when you answer they hang the phone up in your ear, either to prove that they have logged a call or just a form of harassment. My advice, I have no complaints with the service but be prepared for an extremely unprofessional response when you try to terminate the service.
BMW Sandton Auto ARC were given my motorcycle by my insurance company, Discovery Insure< after an accident which took place near Harrismith in March this year. I don't often come in here to recommend anyone however, I have to give credit where credit is due. Work was started on my motor cycle as soon as they received her. Romeo, was put in charge of the repair and did an exceptional job in the repair, going above and beyond to ensure the bike was perfect on its return. Romeo updated me daily on the progress and would provide me with photographs of progress as it happened. I honestly felt as if Romeo was working on his own bike, it was totally unexpected and an absolute pleasure to see. Honestly, the work and customer service was extraordinary. Two Thumbs up for this company and a huge shout out for Romeo who is an absolute credit to their customer service. Cannot express enough how satisfying it was to deal with these people. Keep it up, we need more like you.
Big Thanks to all involved with my recent claim after a motor bike accident near Harrismith. Discovery ensured my motorcycle was transported to a place of safety and that I was accommodated in a hotel the same night. Call Centre was in touch constantly ensuring that I was safe and well. A decision was made by discovery to have the motorbike transported back to Johannesburg where she underwent repairs with BMW ARC in Sandton who went out of their way to ensure that the bike was impeccable when I received her back. Hassle free, and was impressed with the professionalism in which I was handled. Cannot recommend this company enough.
I’d give them a zero star rating if I could. Absolutely disgusting service from this “Major” Service Provider. Take a tip from me, they provide nothing but what’s expected in a third world country. November we took out this 100Mb line.....with a Playstation 5 as incentive. To date ...... nothing. After a plethora of complaints and hours on calls with the @technicians, who have absolutely zero motivation whatsoever, we have never received the 100Mb line, nor the Playstation. Instead we have a line that provides 20Mb Upload and 3Mb Download. Every single day we are dropped from the system, not once not twice but anything from 3-4 times a day we get bumped from the internet service which in turn requires us to spend an hour in the phone, switching off and switching back on, absolutely rediculous. How does anyone run a company relying on these people. It’s absolutely disgusting. We moved to Vodacom because we were having the same issues with our previous Service Provider. Now we have exactly the same service at double the price. Avoid these people at all costs. Smoke Signals are more reliable. Absolutely horrendous experience with Vodacom. Utterly disappointed
