I’m beyond frustrated and extremely disappointed with the quality of my newly purchased home from Central Development. It has only been 1.5 months since I bought the house, and there are already an insane number of cracks forming throughout the property. This is completely unacceptable for what should be a brand-new, structurally sound home. What makes this even worse is that some of these cracks were “fixed” within months of moving in — and not just once, but twice — yet they keep coming back. Now, to make matters worse, additional issues /cracks under the windows are being declined instead of properly addressed. This clearly points to deeper structural or workmanship problems that are simply being patched or ignored rather than resolved. Their attitude is just as unacceptable. They are completely useless when it comes to taking responsibility and are quick to push everything onto the homeowner. How does it make sense that I’m already expected to fix defects in a house I just bought? Why would I be repairing anything at all this early? The level of workmanship is shockingly poor, and the lack of accountability is even more concerning. It feels like once they’ve made the sale, they walk away and leave you to deal with ongoing problems that should never exist in the first place. Buying a home is a major investment, and no one should go through this. I strongly urge anyone considering Central Development to think twice. Based on my experience, the quality is far below standard, and you may end up with a “new” house that comes with recurring defects, rejected claims, and zero real support from the developer.
Avoid parking on the top floor (upper-level parking) or going to this mall if possible. I went to this mall (Savannah - 08/01/2024) in Polokwane to get some ingredients for the salad. Parked on the upper-level open parking and 10 minutes when I came back to my car, my right-hand side light bumper was ****** (sc****d out of the car). Fortunately, I arrived before the rest of the car was to possibly to be sc****d. The was a guy who looked like a security (wearing a white shirt with grey pants and a name tag ...has a gold tooth). He looked very guilty, pretended to be on the phone, and denied being a security guard there, however, he was quick to mention that the cameras on the upper floor have been removed and there's no longer security at the mall. He referred to what looked like an old security guard office but the office is all locked up
Online shopping scam.I ordered a tile Online and immediately got a notification that it will be delivered after 3 days -Monday 1 August 2022.A week later,nothing. I went to Boksburg store only to receive a shocking service of my life.After waiting for 45 minutes, a lady (Nosipho) came complaining claiming be tired. Took my order number,then came back and ask if I'm taking my order with me.How because I paid for delivery? OK,then we'll deliver on Monday. Monday comes..nothing. Wednesday I followed up with a call centre...they had no idea what's going on with my order. Then finally I get a call saying "we unfortunately don't have a stock".OK,how is this possible?Why did my order and payment go through if there's no stock?.Two things I've picked up from this,1.Poor staff morale and bad culture;2.Poor systems and no accountability. Thus poor service and shocking client experience. If you want to loose a contractor, buy from this shop
I am incredibly disappointed and upset with an appalling service I have received from MiWay Insurance. I lodged a claim for my damaged tyre to be replaced last year in December 2021.To this day, I still don't have a credible feedback. I keep on following up and I am being told that they're are also following up with their claims department. What does this mean? Almost a month? Now, they're are even ignoring my follow up emails. No reply at at all and guess what, I continue to pay premiums and stacked with a damaged tyre. I regret ever trusting this company and their ridiculous service. I cannot wait to cancel all my covers period!! I should probably get my premiums back because they are failing to honor their promise. Bad bad service
