I booked a car from budget Cape town airport, on 27/10/25, when returning I was alerted by the gentleman receiving the car that there was a small scratch on the wheel cap(which I wasn't aware of) 2 days later I received an SMS notification that I will be billed R1160.87 excl vat, I have emailed and called them asking how they got to this amount but to this date I haven't received any feedback
I placed 2 online orders(ST-000178918 &ST-000178926) on the 23rd of September 2025....an hour later I called in to cancel the first order ST-000178918..... also sent email cancellation for this order and refund.... On Friday 26th I received my parcel but it was for the order I cancelled, I phoned customer service and was told it was online department error.....and to my disappointment I was then advised the items I requested were out of stock...
I bought a 2nd hand car which came with its tracker, the previous owner then asked to transfer the contract to my name, on Thursday 21/08/25 we did the change. was then given login details. I later logged in to the app and saw the last update was on 26/07/25. I reported this and was told someone will call be back but nothing happened. On Monday 25/08/25 I emailed then to cancel the agreement. I was then told I should pay a termination fee of R2600.. This unit was never active in my name, both owner and tracker consultants failed to tell me before hand that the unit off, I was miss informed to taking over something that does not work, they both **** to me. I will not pay for this contract can be reversed back to its original owner My number is 0847672709
I would like to warn the public to be very careful, I took a cellphone insurance with this company last year Jul, I was insured for R20'000, with access fee of R1000. In January I was ****** of my cellphone. I then submitted a claim, gave them ICT number, Police case number, Affidavit... I was then asked by underwriter(Monitor SA) to submit a selfie holding ID... 3 days later I followed up and was told Police case number cannot be verified. I had to make a conference call with police and the underwriter to get case number verified. Again days went by with no update. I had to call and follow up, I was then told to get device history from my network provider(cellC). Network said they don't issue that, It took me 2 weeks of talking with CellC and underwriter also making several conference calls, claim was approved, but access fee has increased to R2'300 from R1000............ I was insured 20k, they gave me same phone difference colour cheaper worth 10k....was not even given other option to chose from. As per the underwriter, customer can accept what the underwriter gives him.
