I placed an order on the app on Sunday. Generally I get a notification and email which I didn't not get this time but on the app it showed that it was in process. An hour went by and I had not received my food so I called the take away itself as I had no contact details for the app and the lady told me that she received the order which I thought was true because the money was deducted from my account and she said that I should have my food in the next 40 minutes so I waited and 1 hour and 30 minutes went by with no follow-up call. I called for the second time and spoke to a different person who then told me that my order is ready for the delivery guy to pick up and it should be here soon so waited more. To my surprise my food was still not here so after half an hour I called Again! I asked to speak to the manager, she told me that the delivery guy has collected and left already so I asked if she had a number for him or if she could find out where he is etc. Shockingly she starts to take off with me and was terribly rude once I told her how long I've waited for an order that I had placed at 11:46 and cut the call while I was still talking. I couldn't do much by that time so I just decided to place the order directly to Jolly Grubber, an order that I got only at 15:45 that I had to pay for AGAIN. I am terribly disappointed in Uber Eats Services as I order from you all the time as well as Jolly Grubbers staff members who are absolutely not helpful and rude.
I bought a Hisense microwave in May 2021 and not even 5 weeks later it started making weird ticking noises when in operation and eventually started to switch on and off on its own. I went to Makro which was where I bought the microwave and wanted them to exchange it as it was basically brand new. They couldn't care less about the fact that the microwave was a waste of about R7000 and expected me to send it in for repairs. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of your products and I will never even look at any of your products again.
I purchased a microwave on 9 May 2021. In the beginning it worked perfectly but after one month it started to make a ticking noise which was not normal and switched on and off on its own. I brought the microwave in on 26 June 2021 to Makro Springfield so they could assess it and give me a new one. The lady that I spoke to tested the microwave and insisted that the microwave was "working as intended" yet it made the same sound and was clearly switching on and off on its own. She then refused to give me a new microwave or credit me. I am now stuck with a microwave that they want to try and repair instead of giving me a brand new one. I'm extremely disappointed with the service received by the staff member. I will never make a purchase from Makro Springfield again. Rather just go to Game where they treat customers fairly.
