Dear fellow consumer. I just want to warn you of the business practices of a car dealership in Vereeniging by the name of EASYAUTOFIN. I bought a Toyota Hilux bakkie from them. Initially the salesman (Wiekus) was very helpful and friendly, gave a fair trade-in for my car and the FNI assisted with the finance. But then comes delivery. Delivery was planned for Friday afternoon (12 March), I received a call a few hours before from the salesman requesting that we move the delivery to Saturday morning (13 March ) as the towbar is still being fitted and he does not want to rush them. I agreed. On arrival at EASYAUTOFIN on Saturday morning we arrived to find a bakkie that was extremely dirty with no towbar and also no keys. We had a lot of things planned for the morning which the salesman was well aware of. Eventually the key arrives and the bakkie is taken to be washed. We agreed that my family and I will go and do some of the things we planned and return in about a hour to collect the bakkie. Just over a hour later on hour return we arrive to find a bakkie still being washed with no towbar. We needed to get to another appointment and I proposed that they finish washing the bakkie fit the towbar and then deliver it to me. The salesman was very happy and promised he will deliver. The day went by with a number of messages and calls and nothing. No delivery. The last from the salesman was that he will deliver on Monday as the bakkie is in the workshop on the lift with no bumper as the towbar does not fit and no one can open the workshop for him. I found a contact number for a lady Jackie Petzer on the website and gave her a call. At first she did not really want to listen as they were in Harties and said I must call her on Monday with my complaint. I said I need two minutes and explained what happend. She said she will call the salesman and will call me back in 10min. It is now Sunday (14 March) and the 10min is still counting. We went to the EASYAUTOFIN just after 18:00 to find the bakkie on the floor clean with still no towbar but with the bumper in place. I called the salesman explaining that my bakkie is standing on the floor. He immediately said it is not my bakkie but he is in the area and will go to check. I met him at EASYAUTOFIN and he then agrees it is my bakkie without even entering the premises. He promised that I can get my bakkie on Sunday (14 March) as they have another delivery that needs to happen. I agreed and said I will take my bakkie to fit the towbar at EASYAUTOFIN's cost. We are at Sunday and I do not know whether I will actually get the bakkie I bought. Be warned, this is a dealership that most definitely do not stand by what they say and do not put customers first.
Good day, The service we are receiving at the moment is terrible and definitely something that will make me reconsider ever using you guys again. I have a package that was due for delivery to Jeffrey's Bay and after a week no delivery has taken place. This after the call center has promised delivery on a number of occasions. This is bad!
We have/had an alarm system with Bataleur Security who was the bought over by ADT. The worst mistake ever. Oh and Bataleur did not tell us about this. In Dec I received an sms that we are now part of the ADT family and on that day I started to receive about 3 calls per day about my alarm going off. You see this is how they make money, after 4 free callouts they charge you R125 per response. My parents were also with ADT so I knew how bad they were. I contacted the Bataleur offices in Vanderbijl and as how I can cancel my contract. I received a mail with the cancellation letter addressed to ADT saying I must give 30 calendar days notice. I responded to the mail saying that it does not make sense as I do not have a contract with ADT and that I did not give Bataleur consent to transfer my contract to ADT. The lady on the other side said she will forward my mail to the branch manager. This happened on 10 Jan 2018. Some of my reason for cancelling were the poor service from the centralized callcenter. On Friday 12 Jan 2018 I received a call from an ADT technician saying that he must come and remove the ADT radio from my house. I was shocked by this as I did not yet formally cancel my monitoring with Bataleur/ADT. I requested that the radio should not be removed and that monitoring should continue until I find a new provider as ADT clearly does not want my business. On Sunday morning at about 2 and then also 5 my alarm were triggered and guess what. No response calls from anyone at ADT. Clearly they stopped monitoring of my alarm and I will hold them as well as the individuals I dealt with liable for any loss until I find a new provider. Never use ADT or the new name Fidelity ADT! You can change a name but the reputation will stay!

She received her username and password on the same day and that was the end of it.</p> <p> </p> <p>After a number of calls and follow-ups her unit has still not been installed and the worst is I recommended Megasurf to my parents after the good service we received. But service is clearly something they are no longer concerned about. They are more preferring payment and then not delivering.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 2016-12-13 my mom received a mail saying that all installation dates will be rescheduled due to large call volumes. This again explains my point of being after money.</p> <p> </p> <p>If an installation date has been scheduled, why must it be moved? Should it not be first come first serve?</p> <p> </p> <p>My parents are not happy with Megasurf and so am I. They are providing a service that is a disgrace and they treat their clients with no respect.</p> <p> </p> <p>I insist n my parents unit being installed today 2016-12-15 or I will go to the media and explain how bad the service is they provide.</p> <p> </p>

<p>I bought an aircon from Game on 2016/12/03 and completed all the required documents for the installation.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I called the customer line on 0861 996 663 on 2016-12-06 to enquire as to when the installation will happen. I was told that they never received my form and that I should send it to them. (Spoke to Aulette) So I did. My dad bought an aircon on the same day and when he received a call from the installer he asked him whether he received my documents, to which he replied no and said that I must forward him the documents. Which I did on 2016-12-08.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today 2016-12-13 (10 days later) he arrived to install the aircon just to be told that sorry I have a double story house and he does not have the required equipment to install the unit on anything other than a ground floor and the unit is also heavy.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I phoned Aulette back to inform her about the matter and she said she will contact the installer and get back to me, which she then did. But this is where the problem started. 1) Because it’s not a ground floor installation I have to pay more, 2) the installation can only be done in a weeks’ time and 3) I failed to indicate on my form that it’s for a double story house. I then told her that the form does not ask whether the house is a single or double story.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was very persistent that they can only do the installation at a later time and that I will not have my guarantee if I use another installer. After a long argument, she said she will phone me back. Still waiting.</p> <p> </p> <p>The service is a disgrace, they teat customers as fools and expect that we must just sit and wait!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I need my aircon installed ASAP, not only when you feel like it!!!</p> <p> </p>
I would like to bring something to everyone's attention. I just received a call from a company working on behalf of Discovery Insurance wanting to sell me insurance. The guy's name was Feroz (my spelling).<br> <br> When he started I informed him that I received a quote from them a few weeks ago and the premium they charged me on my one car was more than my entire policy with my current insurance (Indequity). He responded with the following question:<br> <br> If you buy a pear of Jeans at PEP you will pay R50 and if you buy it at a GUESS Store it will be much more. I then asked whether he is comparing my current insurance (you guys) with PEP and them with GUESS he said yes and that Discovery is the best.<br> <br> This is where I again asked him for his name and he refused to spell it for me. He asked why I need this and I explained that I would like to know who I'm talking to. He again gave me his name and when I asked to spell it he dropped the phone in my ear. <br> <br> So he is comparing PEP with bad quality and then linking that to other companies. You will not win me as a client by doing this!!!
