I went there for my boyfriends birthday on the 14th June 2025. I booked the romantic day picnic. I was hesitant and skeptical at first but Samukeliswe was so helpful and understanding. I called her almost everyday and she was always willing to help. I received a message with the gate code and special directions in the morning before we came over. It was so thoughtful, convenient and straight forward because google maps will take you around in circles. Driving in was amazing, it gives you that road trip private vibe. The only problem I have was with the bumpy , rocky road to get to the entrance. It's good for big cars with big strong wheels... I wished I could park by the code entrance gate and get a courtesy car to fetch us there on!!! The staff was very friendly when we got there, they gave us welcome drinks whilst we waited for them to do their setup for us. I was advised to bring an extra blanket for the weather conditions and that came in handy as well. The setup was great, the view was amazing and the food was mouth filling!!! I will definitely go back for a weekend away....
I paid for my granmothers service to stay active as usual. A few days later they were suspended due to unallocated funds. I called in on a Thursday to resolve the matter and I was assured that it's ohk. My granny called Momday morning saying it's been suspended again. I called in, spoke to someone different and he assured me again that it would be resolved. Today when I got to work granny called in to say it's off again. I am so annoyed by all of them because they keep making empty promises. I have spent so much airtime calling their customer care number and none of them shows any sort of urgency. Today when I called, a guy answered and I asked him for his supervisor, he went to call one of his other colleagues to pretend to be the manager. Their attitude towards customers is very bad because they think they can fool customers because we don't see them. The problem is that they don't know who is on the other side of the line. I have their names and recordings of those calls on my side and I will be taking this further if i get to work tomorrow and find that the issue was temporarily resolved.
I took my daughter to St John's. She had a file there but it was from years back. Apparently they changed their system and they can no longer find her profile on the system. We had to open a new file but we needed a referral letter from the clinic. We were advised to go to Koos since it's just next door. We had to go start at the long ques, open a file, que to see the doctor and just when we were about to enter. The sister turned us away and told us to go to our local clinic. We were at St John's at 5am, it's now 11 and we are told to go to the local clinic... just for a referral!!! Who would go to the local clinic at that time of the day and were do we get cash for traveling inbetween clinics??? My daughter didn't attend school and it was all for nothing.
I applied for my child for grade 8 for next year. The online system is such a nightmare! I applied on the first day of applications, it was the 22nd of July. The system had a glitch, and my application was deleted. I had to re do it and i think that took me to the back of the line. I did not get offers from any of the schools i applied to. Last week I was automatically placed at a school which was the last option of the schools I had applied to. My question is what happened to the right to choose a school that you see best for your child. I mean if i am going to be paying school fees should i not at least be given the opportunity to have options and be able to choose accordingly? The school they placed my daughter has a history of corruption and bad reviews!!! I am not happy at all... The system failed and I know I am not the only one!!!!
I had a policy with them and I canceled it years ago. Now they opened a new policy on my behalf without my knowledge or consent. I am very angry because I've been politely asking them to cancel that nonsense. I have a thread of emails to their customer service department but I don't get anywhere with them.
