Just arrived at the international airport with my friend to rent on the luxury cars offered by AVIS LUXURY. Before coming here we had done a quotation and we were told that since we were under 30 the liability amount would increase to R90 000. That quotation was done over the course phone. Fast forward to today, we are now told that we cannot rent any of the luxury cars since we under 30. When we tried to bring it up to their attention that we were told otherwise over the phone when we done the quote and one of the requirements stated in the quote says that the minimum age is 25 and for people under 30 the liability amount would increase. The consultant that assisted us to told us that we cannot and that the decision to grant us the car is at the managers discretion. We have no reason to believe that because none of that is even written down in the terms and conditions. We don’t appreciate this kind of service. Because on another with different people this couldn’t have been granted and this would show how biased and unfair these kind of practices are!! Such a disgrace!
The bouncers are so rude and exert racist behavior. We couldn't get into the restaurant because of not wearing masks but two white women we allowed to get to the restaurant without question. The owner did not even want to entertain our problem. Nice restaurant but the behavior does not equate what the restaurant would be
I have both VAF and motor vehicle insurance with Standard Bank. I was charged Insurance double for my car for the month of August. Before the end of August I called Standard bank to enquire why is the installment for my VAF higher, and they advised that included in the installment is the insurance amount. I further asked that on the 1st of September they wouldn't debit my account and I was told not. Fast forward to today, I called in again during the past weeks and was advised that the insurance attached to my VAF is a Hollard vehicle finance that I did not sign up for. I was never today about this insurance policy and never consented to it! I have not received my refund and its now mid month September. I don't appreciate the service because, if I didn't have funds in my account and Standard bank had to debit my account, I would be charged exorbitant charges!! I want to make use of those funds. I kindly request for Standard Bank to do right by me.
The reviews are so disappointing and I don't think there is actual cause of action to mend all the mess caused by this company and some of thier evil drivers. I think it's high time for South Africans to boycott these services provided by such companies. #Skhipa AmaFiles
