The Worst service provider of all time. I had a package with them that ends at the end of each month,yesterday I asked to cancel that package as I wanted to upgrade my package. I was asked if I understood that I would forfeit the balance days,I said its fine I still want it cancelled...the cancelled it in the morning then I asked to pay for the upgrade package I wanted and I was given the payment reference to use...I paid then next thing my OLD package is active again,I made several follow up,called and spoke to consultants on WhatsApp to no avail. This morning the consultant says my old package was credited and they are sorry....now the part that's a worse shocker is that I am told I will be refunded the difference as the cancelled package is now active. Whose fault is that???who made that mistake???why the hell am I paying for it??? So they'll refund me the balance from the R800 I paid,so R500 down the drain! I have opened a case with the ombudsman, WedAfrica can't think this is right and I will drag them till they lose more clients. I am also going to share all screenshots between agents and I to show how horrible the service is on Twitter!!!
I don't even know where to start with these guys, maybe I should start with a payment delay of close to a month?!or an uncleared payment they made?! Or the rudeness of account managers... If anyone was planning on opening up with them, please don't! I've had no bad experience till this past month and this one bad experience is enough to send me packing.. There's no sense of urgency, there's no transparency, there's rudeness and defensiveness met with lack of professionalism. They should have their license revoked.
My story dates back to 2018. My business account was frozen without me ever being called by my bank, it was just frozen. I went to Galleria Mall to find out what happened and I was told a client of mine got it frozen. I asked if that's allowed without me being notified whatsoever, but that wasn't answered and I was given the client's name and I spoke to him and he sent what the bank said he needed to send but it remained frozen.. I went to numerous banks to try get it unfrozen or find out what the situation was to NO AVAIL. Call records can confirm this(because "this call is recorded for quality and control proposes" right?!),branch footage too can confirm this as I went to over 6 branches just in 2018 for assistance to no avail. I kept trying to get assistance year in and out till last year when Samantha Malgas of the fraud division said the account was frozen due to a case that a client opened (criminal case), I asked for the details of this client together with the case number so I could follow up but I was given just the case number.. I drove all the way from the Eastern Cape to Meyerton in Johannesburg only to find out that the case attached to the Hold on my account is a Residential house break in(prior to driving there I asked Samantha if she was certain of this and a consultant showed me the attachment on his PC at the branch) the warrant officer wrote and emailed a letter exanarating me_this is me wasting my very limited resources going all the way to Jozi for an error. I kept asking why due diligence wasn't done and if this is the procedure... Can I just wake up and say Person A did this to my funds, close their account and the bank just takes me word for it??? Where's the due diligence? Where's the regard for me as their client? Samantha Malgas didn't even offer me an apology for her error and all FNB did was to change her and put someone else in charge of the case. I submitted proof of how clients had people within FNB who could access my ACCOUNT_WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and tell them it's activities. FNB got me depressed, I have been on antidepressants since 2018 and even got diagnosed with hormonal imbalance as a subsequence. I lost my office space and had to let my staff go due to the Hold on my business account. If anyone was considering moving to FNB, I plead with YOU_DONT! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE BLACK. FURTHERMORE IF YOU'RE FEMALE... They will do everything in their power to show you just how little they think of you... Or value you!! I was a Private client who never not once spoke to her banker, I even posted about it on my Facebook account, wondering if I were the only one and many using FNB came out with the same cry. Last year I moved to Private Wealth and that's when I atleast had my banker make contact with me. What FNB did to me can never be expressed in words, but I will get justice. I have formally complained to the Ombudsman of Banks and hopefully with their intervention I will be compensated. Ruuuuuun away from FNB... This bank will chew you up and spit you up only once they've seen that you're dead!
Got a 2k loan from them in December, I've been paying every month but their system always says I'm in arrears. Calling the call center changes nothing, they'll send an sms saying it's sorted but once I log in it still says I am in arrears. I've wasted 120 airtime calling asking for assistance from them to no avail. Ruuuuuuuun,they will ruin your credit scoring!
Whoever wants to get vehicle financing RUN AWAY from Std bank. I bought a Ford Everest(which cost R500 000) and I paid R230 000 and asked through the dealership to apply for financing for the balance _it has come to my attention only last week that instead of a loan of the balance, they gave me one for R490 000,so what happened to the 230k I paid??? Why would they give me 490k for a car that almost half of the amount has been paid?? I'm getting a lawyer to help me fight this
I got called only after posting on hellopeter-got told the legal team would call on Monday(yesterday) but till now-nothing!!! I have moved to Twitter and I’m asking friends and family to share my tweet-Pick n pay should just close its stores if this is how they treat customers beyond their floors!! As if being pregnant isn’t stressful enough then one must chase after Pick n pay for their own money!!!!
I’m a heavily pregnant woman who fell due to a liquid spillage at Pick n Pay,I rushed to the hospital and had doctors examine me for the safety of my baby-even they admit their floor was wet due to a spillage that was cleaned and there was no board indicating that the floor was wet. I paid R3300 towards the hospital and submitted everything once I was discharged and feeling better…it’s been weeks and no one is saying anything to me from Pick n Pay!I am the one who calls to make follow ups and they literally tell me nothing. I call their head office and it’s the same thing! I’ll be moving to Twitter with this and all social platform****** n Pay I want my money! I will involve lawyers very soon.
